Our overnight getaway would not have been as enjoyable if we stayed in different condo or a hotel.
Pros:

Hubby and I went for an overnight getaway with another couple. The condo property manager, Allison, is great. She promptly answered questions and was very accommodating. The condo is clean, quiet, and just a few blocks from the main streets of Avalon. The furnishings are dated but comfortable. The place was stocked with everything we needed. In addition to the reasonable rate, what makes this rental better than all others is that it comes with unlimited use of a golf cart. That is a notable rarity. One cannot truly experience Avalon without being able to drive into the surrounding hills to see the spectacular views. We were able to drive to the grocery, buy wine and cheese, and enjoy a sunset happy hour overlooking the bay and village. The Point across from the Mt. Ada Inn is a good place for this.

Cons:

Only one minor negative. The Ikea fold out couch is hard bed. I think using two of the many blankets that are in the condo, as a mattress pad would make it more comfortable.

Great place to stay with family
Pros:

First of all on arrival, owner, Allison was incredible, very responsive and on top of everything. Location was great accessible to everything. Most importantly having a Go cart included for the entire the vacation was a cherry on top.
Accommodations were great. We did not use the pool but it was available if we needed it

Cons:

The sofa bed in the living room copy have been a bit more comfortable.

Would stay again! Golf cart and pool are great perks
Pros:

Great location with easy access to the center of Avalon on foot and via the included golf cart (which is especially great for cruising up around the town's hills to see the views). The host, Allison, personally met us at the ferry to hand over the keys and do the golf cart paperwork/instruction. She was welcoming, helpful, communicative, and accommodating. Apartment was perfectly comfortable and had everything we needed; bed and futon were decent; we loved the pool/hot tub.

Please redo your property listing to avoid disappointed travelers.
Pros:

Alison was wonderful meeting us at the ferry dock and taking us to the property. It was wonderful having the golf cart to get around and explore although you do have to park the cart offsite at night approx. 1/4 mile away. The bed was comfortable and the condo was roomy and pretty well supplied.

Cons:

We are seniors with some mobility issues. While the property does have elevators, you still need to negotiate two floors of steps up and down to get into the condo. This wasn't stated in the listing. My main complaint is the pool and hot tub were turned off during the week. The pool/hot tub was my main reason for choosing this place. This also wasn't stated in the listing as was the fact you have to walk 1/4 mile to get to the place you have to park the golf cart at night. For this reason I don't feel we received full value for the cost of our stay. A better description would have led to us staying elsewhere.

Feasible but wouldn’t stay there again
Pros:

The Condo is old. The bed is a full size and the mattress is worn out.
The couch sinks in when you sit on it. The refrigerator is not working properly. Doesn’t keep food cold. The freezer over freezes. The golf cart is out dated and needs maintenance. The only positive was the location. Walking distance from the Strip and Vons, the supermarket

Cons:

The refrigerator unfortunately didn’t keep our food cold - we did report it at the end of our trip and were told a new one was ordered. That’s good for future guests.

Dated, basic accomodations with a cart bonus
Pros:

Location and golf cart

Cons:

The property is dated. All the furniture had some major wear and tear. Every couch and armchair was wrapped in poorly fitted covers.
Bed was very uncomfortable. Very tall mattress topped with something (pillow top?) somewhat smaller, which made it rounded on the edges. So we had to huddle in the middle.
No actual air control. Window AC unit and ceiling radiant heat with no possibility of setting the temperature. It was mostly too hot, but cold with the AC/fan on.
The kitchen faucet can only be used in the shallower part of the double sink. It is installed on this side and too short to reach the deep side.
The faucet in the master bath barely trickle warm water.
The shower head in the tub was installed so low that we had to squat or bend backward to use it (as a reference I’m 5’6”).
There was no actual closet space available as every closet had at least half of it filled and the other half had something in the back and on the floor.
The can opener is missing and the drying rack was so dirty that we decided to use a towel instead.
The laundry is NOT inside the unit. It is the whole large apartment complex laundry area.

The best place to stay in Avalon Bay!
Pros:

This is the 5th year in a row that we have stayed at this property. It is comfortable, easy access close to anything you want or need. The golf cart is a plus as it makes getting around town a breeze. Allison is so friendly and always available.
We look forward to going back every year

A great getaway with friends with the convenience of a golf cart!
Pros:

The unit was well located only minutes from the waterfront. The golf card served us well, since we had one member that had some mobility issues. Everything we needed was in the condo, including a cot, plenty of towels, everything we needed in the kitchen and even a clothes steamer and high chair (which we didn’t need). The unit was clean and there were even board games and the ability to stream movies.

Cons:

You should know there are some stairs, but not a lot to get to the elevator and to the room.

Too many stairs & it was kind of hard to locate the room. Sofabed & arm chairs were at the end of their life, bed was uncomfortable. Bathroom light fixture had too many dead bugs in it.
