Mediterranean apart hotel

Arrived and wasn't allocated ground floor apartment that was confirmed by the property last October. The apartment on 1st floor was ant infested , on bedside cabinets, floors . No cups , had to buy some, no cereal bowls. Cooking 2 ringed unit filthy, shower not working, head had to be replaced, shower doors off the runner, broken sun beds, dog poo on path leading to pool, informed staff and still wasn't cleaned up, broken sharp edged steps. Informed ground floor apartment was worse for ants ! Air conditioning stuck on freezing, took two days for the control they took to be returned. Even though the lady running this is lovely it does not excuse the health and safety issues that we encountered, Traveling alone with 3 children, mum back in the UK booked another apartment which we went to when it was vacant after spending 3 nights in this place. Uploading photo's to show here was difficult as most were video's, so trying to capture all the fast moving ants to show how many there were was hard by screen shotting a video as it does not show the extent of how many ants there were

Just to note, there is no lift up to apartments so only the ground floor would suit people with mobility issues. This was not an issue for us.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the "Mediterranean Apart Hotel," .. The experience was far below the expectations set by the listing. Below are the detailed issues I encountered during my stay:


1. **Odors:** The accommodation smelled as if smoking had occurred for an extended period, and the air conditioning emitted a musty odor.

2. **Sanitary Conditions:** The restroom by the pool was extremely filthy, and the pool water had a milky appearance.

3. **Bedding:** The bed linens were old, dirty, and did not fit the mattress. They had holes and numerous yellow stains.

4. **Kitchen:** All the kitchen utensils had to be washed before use. The freezer was very dirty inside, and there was mold in the microwave. The cabinets were sticky with grease and dust, with remnants of food, such as cookie crumbs, left inside.

5. **Safety Hazard:** There is a dangerous metal strip on the raised floor that can cut your feet.

6. **Laundry Facilities:** The washing machine was dirty and unpleasant to use, and the drying rack provided was rusty and broken.

7. **Kitchen Amenities:** Although the accommodation advertised a kitchen, it was impossible to cook as there was no stove.

8. **Bathroom:** There was mold in various places in the bathroom.

9. **Balcony Doors:** The balcony doors were difficult to open and could not be locked due to a broken key stuck in the lock.

10. **Outdoor Hygiene:** There were bones from gnawed meat scattered around the property.

11. **Pool Facilities:** The loungers by the pool were broken or severely worn out.

Watch out ! Its next to a funpark !

Internet speed could be better but this is a general issue I have experienced all over Turkey so I would say its not specific to this accomodation!

There was no lift is the only problem . If there are lots of luggage .
