Nice and peaceful town, perfect for the explorers
Pros:

Well located, with a balcony facing the creek
It’s not old, nice structure, and nice furniture and bed
I was able to shower with hot water anytime of the day

Cons:

The place was dusty, the bathroom dirty, nobody cleaned the rain water from the stairs and hallways 😰
Nobody answers phone calls nor messages
The WIFI was turned off the morning of my departure!

The location

Cons:

The isolation is not incredible. It can be hard to sleep due to the noise in the street. Even with earplugs.
The bathroom is not really good.
The communication was hard as they don't seem to use WhatsApp.
Be careful there are 2 places with this adress in Jalpan. This is the one in the center that you need to look for. Could be mentioned prior by the owner.

Pros:

The city centre is nearby and it was cheap.

Cons:

In general everything was fine, but the devil is in the detail and there were simply many details that weren't right. The bathroom wasn't clean, absolutely nowhere to put your things in the bathroom, no towels, the sockets were placed in the most unpractical places...
The owner seems to have been improving the apartment (for example there are curtains now), but there are still a couple of things that need to be done.
