Pros:

Pasamos solo un día, pero fue muy acogedora la estancia, tanto que nos gustaría volver. Fueron muy amables al recibirnos y al despedirse. Tuvimos toda la comodidad y privacidad que buscábamos, fue un escapada muy linda. Recomendamos 10/10

Pros:

Situated in a very good disctict with tidy homes, no danger, no strange people, no garbage. Big supermarket in 5 min. The personnel is very helpy and good-willing. Very beautyfull inner patio with plants and small pool. There live some cats, if you like cats you can let them in to the room.

Hidden Gem
Pros:

Easily the best I've seen for the money.
Supermarket in walking distance. Paseo La Galleria a walkable 2km away.
Pool and tropical garden. Bali/Phuket feel to this place.
Host is a very nice and helpful lady.

Cons:

No Cafe or restaurant strip nearby.
There are a couple cafe's and restaurants in walking distance but they're scattered.

An island of tranquility
Pros:

Especially liked the beauty and quietude of the garden area, the pool with the two huge palm trees above it, the cats, and the kindness and hospitality of the owner and staff. Don Gerardo apartments are located in barrio Madame Linch, which is a quiet, safe, and very residential neighborhood of Asunción. However, there is a S6 supermarket, some other shops and even restaurants, a burger bar etc. within walking distance! There is a bus stop within 100mts of the property, where you can jump on an authentic Paraguayan vehicle and commute to the historic centre (or you can always rely on Uber, it is a good and affordable alternative). I booked this accomodation about two weeks before arriving to the country. The reservation was possible without paying anything in advance (huge plus), and once you arrive - you'll have the option to pay either in US dollars or local currency.

Cons:

Some mosquitoes managed to "infiltrate" the apartment again and again through a window or air vent above the bathroom. These damned bloodsuckers are not my friends. Installing an anti-mosquito net to that rooftop vent would solve this problem.

bring some cat food

The garden with a small pool is very cute and the whole complex is very calm. Relaxed and nice place, especially loved cats which I couldn't even count at one point.
