Pera Colour House

Everything was easy.
Smooth check-in and check-out, very friendly host, and the apartment was clean. It was a bit noisier than I’m used to, but totally fine for the price.
Great stay overall, and the washing machine was a big bonus for traveling.
Can definitely recommend for a comfortable and affordable visit to Istanbul.

Herr Rasul war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit warmem Brot empfangen. Das Hotel liegt in einer guten Lage. Eine Bäckerei und ein Supermarkt befinden sich in der Nähe.

Location was close to main attractions

the location is great, within walking distance of iconic places and sites. The apartment is clean, has everything you need, even dishes. Paid parking very close by, shops, eateries and a bakery - next door. internet - everywhere and very good.

Room was very clean and air conditioner was cooling perfectly for a good sleep in summer. I booked the room in very short notice and found it just perfect. The host sent someone to help us settle down. Thanks to Resul who called us and helped us settle down and also bought us fresh turkish breads. Resul was very good in English and that helped in smooth communication. I was sending him Whatsapp messages whenever I needed anything and he was always helpful. The host also kept messaging me every other day to check if we needed anything. We got a basement room that was very quiet. We slept very well during the stay. The building is very close to Taksim Square, and we daily used to walk from room to Taksim Square during evening time. Building is very close to main road and so we didn't find any difficulty is catching up taxi whenever we needed. There is breads shop attacked to the building and also some restaurants and coffee shops and grocery shops. We loved the stay.

Location is good, Necessities are available nearby, Walking distance from Istiqlal Street.

It was amazing how easy we could reach the host Ilhan each time we needed anything. He is pretty flexible as well. And don’t let me start talking about the generous gesture of serving nice fresh bag of pastry. Keep up the good work, Ilhan and Resul!

The apartment was cozy, clean and had all of the things that any couple needs for a short stay.

The location was very good, near bus stations and main streets in Istanbul. Since it was our first trip to Istanbul, we came to know each day a new advantage of the location of Pera Colour House. There are nice local smaller shops and restaurants near the apartment as well, just downstairs, not even for touristic prices.

We will come back to Pera Colour House, whenever we visit Istanbul again.

Ilhan is a super nice host, place is really good, in a comfortable location. We loved the bakery and fruit shop in the street.

When we arrived we were welcomed by freshly made breads and baked goods and any request we had was immediately rectified by host :)

First and foremost, I would like to emphasise that the site was quiet almost which was my major concern when I was looking for hotels. Surprisingly enough, we were welcomed with a full package of scrumptious cookies. What is more, staff members and all local residents were friendly and kind. Everyday they asked if we have any requests. In our last day even though we had to hand over the flat, we were able to leave our baggage with staff (Mr. Maisam) for a couple of hours without any hesitation. Location is close to the main roads and touristic places.

Cosy little apartment. In the "annexe building" that seems to be part of the regular building.
We came to like the street but were a bit wary at first, it's not in an affluent area. Local shopkeepers are so friendly though, they set us at ease.

Good strongly-flowing hot water.

Bakery noise is not the big deal others make out. Woke us briefly at first, soon back to sleep. And we were so close the bakery oven warmed our bathroom tiles.

Great location.
Peaceful considering how close it is to busy parts of Istanbul.
