The facilities were terrific. Staff was very friendly and helped us in many ways.
One of our rooms had a broken handle to the bathroom door. We were told the staff would do our laundry but they didn’t get to it before the rain came so we just pulled our basket inside. The rain was not their fault. 🙂
The camp has everything that runners need: gym, sauna, ice bath, great carbs-focused food, free laundry, hot shower.
Also, a cozy shared area, balcony with a nice view, and a reliable wi-fi.
Everyone working in the camp is kind and attentive.
I really enjoyed my stay in the camp and focused solely on training and working remotely.
Overall, our stay went well and we had a good time. The common areas are very nice, the buffet was simple but tasty, and the staff were all very friendly – especially the women in charge of cleaning the rooms, who were truly adorable and helpful.
The only downside was that the rooms were extremely humid. At night, the sheets and blankets felt damp, almost wet, which was very uncomfortable. For people with asthma like us, it was particularly unpleasant, but even for the rest of the family it made the experience inside the rooms quite difficult.
Apart from this issue, everything else was positive and well organized.

It was still under renovation.
location and Cleaning staff smile
The humidity was high and the room had an unpleasant atmosphere. The toilet in the room was broken. There was a limited selection of food. The shuttle bus was very old and had engine trouble on the way, so we had to change buses, which took a long time. You might be tempted to choose this hotel because you can book it through Booking.com, but if you're staying for a long time,I suggest you look at and consider the websites of other hotels not listed on Bookig.com such as HATC and Kechei Centre.
*The status of restrooms, shuttle buses, etc. are from the time I stayed and may have been modified.
Staff is so helpful. Cynthia will describe and do everything she can to make your stay comfortable. The offered services are so cool - ping-pong, sauna, even cryotherapy! The chef and her assistant will make you the most delicious breakfast you will ever have in Kenya.
Excellent place to stay for the price. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms were basic but great for the price. Food was good...
Really the team there so kind. thanks for Cynthia and Colin’s and the whole team for make me feel so comfortable and happy. The facilities were excellent, the hospitality was great and I’m highly recommended for anyone want to go to iten. See you guys soon 🌹

There was no offered breakfast which was fine, and maybe it was me, but I thought based on memory this place was supposed to have a restaurant on site from the descriptors but it did not. (there was some sort of room and board for some folks staying there I think). The place could have been made a lot more homey by just adding a night light by the bed for ease of reading, and also adding kitchen towels and dish soap to the room/studio. Other than that staff was really friendly, the masseuse on site was great and the tours their company had listed fit the bill but in the case of the hiking trail could have had better descriptors for safety (as it would have been unsuitable for some hikers for sure and I am a 60 year old physical therapist so aware of inherent risks in this kind of activity as I have done a lot or rehab on severe brain injured folks due to many a freak (or not freak accident).
See above as I put it all in there. Thank you. Overall a good stay and I would recommend it to others. Also, although they had a great touring company and of course we all have the internet to look it up it might have been nice to have a listing of fun things to do in Iten itself (as opposed to all the touring options Swiss side has like the hikes/safaris etc). Having travelled to many countries it is nice sometimes to get the insiders listing of what THEY would do if they live in ITEN as they know it like a local and a tourist may miss some of the hidden gems of a litttle town like ITEN.
I spent a weekend at Swiss Side Iten and the entire staff was very welcoming and friendly. The place offers good rooms with the basics needed for a good stay. Sauna and cold-water bathtub are a plus. Excellent location, close to the main road.
