Loved the stay at Vodolei, this is our third time staying at the property. The staff is friendly and keeps the hotel extremely clean. The apartments are thoughtfully furnished and very comfortable. Great AC, balcony to relax, well stocked kitchen, beatiful bathrooms and smart TV. Black out curtains too. There is a lawn in front of the property great for kids or evening walks.
I would love an elevator, especially with luggage or for elderly people.

Fairly clean. Way smaller than in the pictures, but I guess it all depends on luck - if you book early, you might get lodged in the surrounding two stories apartments featured on the site with indoor stairs, plenty of space. If late, you get the regular hotel rooms, way smaller. Same price.
We were late, lucky us.
Nice pool, just as in pictures. Nice garden outside, although totally uninviting, nobody enjoys it really. It's just a scenery. Because:

The really strict silence policy. It's all good if you just want to extend your mundane family city life - wake up at 7, get the kids to school, go to work 9 to 5, pick up the kids, get home, do some extra work on your laptop in total silence, have a snack, kiss your spouse on the cheek, "lovely salad my dear", do your prayer, go to bed at 9.
A pleasant hospice, a lovely sanitarium, a place of maddening quiet - do not dare sneeze outside, it's an offence.
We were a bit nuts! Two families in their 40's with two 7 years old kids, we were crazy enough to chat on the balcony at 11 pm and even (can't believe we were this crazy!!!) have a laugh now and then! Like... trying to have a bit of fun, as if... we were on our holiday, that sort!
Worth mentioning, all rooms are equipped with AC and sound proof windows, but for some reason, they all kept their windows open. Tradition I guess.
We'd get over this no problem, our apologies included, if not for one of the admins (more like a local thug, really) who showed up banging at our door, no apologies (I know you don't get it Mr. Thug, it's complicated stuff, it's called being "diplomatic" as you were the manager and the host - even if formal, apologies are a trait of being civilized and a good manager who's in control, not a gorilla. I know you don't get, it's really complex stuff), fuming and shaking and clenching his fists as if almost itching to punch and kick all of us inside, kids included. As if we were there illegally, for free, someone just did us a favor, and look at us behaving, chatting on the balcony at 11 o'clock!!!
I really want to reiterate this: we were just chatting! Not shouting, no loud music, just chatting. It was 11 pm, not 2!
A fckn' monastery, excuse my French. And not a cheap one, mind you.
Worth mentioning, and we really want to be fair: the rest of the staff was nice, no issues.
Apartamentul este spațios, cu o vedere frumoasă către grădină și situat într-o zonă foarte liniștită – perfect pentru relaxare. Plajele sălbatice din apropiere sunt un mare plus pentru cei care caută natură și liniște. Personalul a fost atent și mereu dornic să ajute. Am avut o problemă cu internetul, dar s-a rezolvat imediat după ce am anunțat. Prosoapele au fost schimbate pe parcursul sejurului, ceea ce am apreciat.
Recomand pentru cei care caută liniște și natură.
Singurul minus a fost la bucătărie, unde am găsit foarte puține ustensile – doar o singură furculiță și o lingură foarte mare, ceea ce a fost puțin incomod.
Комфортно, чисто и тихо място за почивка! На 10 минути пеша имаше магазини и ресторант с прекрасна храна.
The place is quiet and peaceful – perfect for a relaxing holiday. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Great location. We would definitely come back again!

The apartment looked new; it had a nice balcony towards the garden; it had a kitchenette
The garden was full of mosquitoes; the kitchenette was basically equipped, don’t forget to bring salt or oil or even coffee because will not find any; also no shower gel in the shower. The oven button was not working and even though we informed them nobody even cam to check.
Whenever the children were playing in the pool someone from reception continously came to scream at them in Bulgarian…
excellent facilities, perfect pool (especially on rainy days)
we caught it quite empty, being the end of September, but it was perfect
kind and very understanding staff (they accepted a change to our reservation for reasons beyond our control)
we will return with great pleasure now that we have found such an accommodation option - quality, quiet (we have been coming to Krapets for years, but always in a tent)
