Great location for the village, great view, lovely pool facilities although not both saunas and steam rooms were open. Nice spacious appartments and comfortable beds. A bit pricey but a pleasant environment.
Lighting in the lounge was awful-needed a torch to look at my map or read a book.. Kitchen knives and utensils poor quality. WiFi was poor but better than my previous visit in 2022. Parking was described as free but that is for outdoor parking only, and there is simply not enough for everyone in busy times. I ended up having to buy underground parking at €32 for the week, so cost this in as extra.
Well equipped
Not very clean. WiFi was horrendous
Would recommend CGH. Close to town / close to the Grand Massif lift. Very good value (at least for when we were there) and great facilities. Staff were friendly. Only comment would be parking should be included in the price, as there is ample underground car parking. Would come again or recommend. Samoens is a lovely small little town that's not too touristy.
Location, facilities, cleanliness
I found a bit bizarre the check-out process where you are asked to undo the beds and put all bedsheets and towels in the bath. I see how this makes things easier for them but with the price you pay I would expect they take care of that.
Location, staff friendly, quiet
Cleanliness could have been better but no major issues.
Sauna, steam rooms, pool and spa are lovely
The staff at the hotel were grumpy. It’s fairly obvious they don’t like English
Location of the hotel is awesome, it's just inbetween the skilift station and between the city centre - nearest crociery shop (Sherpa) just few hundred meters away :)
Spa / pool / sauna area was nice warm and clean.
For some reason we didnt get wifi working reliably and in the room 5g / 4g coverage wasnt great either, but as it was a holiday then this was kinda nice actually (to be more offline :)
