In the middle of nature but close to town
Pros:

Pelican Waterfront Resort is placed at the tip of the Babbage Peninsula, only a short drive from Carnarvon but right in the middle of nature. There were water views and lovely shaded areas to sit on comfortable furniture. The host family was absolutely lovely, and the wifi was superb.

Cons:

Yes, the rooms are dated, but a lot of love had gone into well functioning equipment and decorating.

The property was old & dirty & smelt bad.
Worst place I’ve ever stayed & paid &220 for the experience.
Place needs a thorough clean & painting.
Grounds need tidying up. Needs an energetic
manager. It is in a nice spot near the sea.
Reception was difficult to find, had to find the number & call them. Manager couldn’t even be bothered to come out & meet me!

Relaxing, quiet & pretty location.
Pros:

Love the location it’s so pretty on the water. River one side and beach the other. Staff friendly. Laid back and relaxing place. Clean. Older style motel room. Stove top and microwave for cooking. Good size fridge.

Cons:

Bed was smaller than what used to and pillows were really flat so didn’t get great sleep.
