Pros:

Quiet homestay away from the busy/touristy areas around Hiri. It's right in the middle of nature and you can see monkeys, monitor lizards and many birds around the property. Breakfast is amazing and different everyday. Wifi is good but not good enough for meetings if you're working. We had to go to coworking places in town, but there's plenty to go to like Pranaya and Dots.

Cons:

Only downside is there's no Aircon, but there's a fan .

The most gorgeous and friendly hosts🫶
Pros:

The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to help organise some surprise birthday decorations and a cake for our friend! The breakfasts were also delicious and such good value to have included in the stay. Would 100% come back.

Przepyszne jedzenie przygotowywane przez właścicielke, piękny ogród w którym można złapać oddech po intensywnym dniu. Bardzo cicho i spokojnie, ale wciąż w odległości spaceru do plaży. Polecam!!

Quiet, secluded stay near the beach
Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just 15 minute walk to the beach (and many bars/restaurants) and a delicious breakfast included. Set amongst some wooded areas so nice and quiet compared with those closer to the beach area.

Cons:

No fault of the property or host, but there was building work going on nearby which did start early

Perfect place
Pros:

We loved our stay at drongo place!!! Adula made everything amazing for us, super clean bedroom and bathroom, amazing breakfast, a tea to welcome us, always with a smile and really beautiful surroundings. It is only 6minutes in motorbike to hikitiya beach or 12minutes walking and you get to sleep in a quiet and peaceful place. Perfection.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit, die Familie hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert, war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Die Unterkunft ist umgeben von einem schönen Garten und ist in einer ruhigen Gegend. Das Zenter von Hiriketiya ist fussläufig gut erreichbar.

Peaceful stay with delicious breakfast
Pros:

We loved our stay at Drongo Place. The accommodation is about a 10 minute walk down to the main part of Hiriketiya. Being a little bit further away from the main roads and busy area made sitting outside on our little patio very peaceful and quiet. The shower also had hot water which was a nice plus! The host is extremely kind and helpful, and the Sri Lankan breakfast she made for us every morning was delicious!

Calm sanctuary near beautiful beaches
Pros:

Very peaceful and green. Anula was always helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

There were quite a lot of mosquitos in the room, but under the mosquito net it was fine.
