Good location and clean
Confirmed extra day with host in booking.com only to be told “manually reserved the day.” Was suppose to have it for 2 nights and my friends weren’t able to enter after midnight the next day like originally planned. Host turned off phone and didn’t give us code. Horrible experience especially for foreigners with nowhere to go at 3am. It was a payment issue which is why I wanted to book on booking.com but the host said not to worry. Don’t recommend the hassle.

The house is inside a secure condo on a convenient location very close to everything in Herradura. The condo facilities are quite alright especially the club house and the swimming pool. There's parking in place and check in is easy. Security staff are also very friendly. The A/C worked really well which was a big relief.
There were 4 unacceptable issues with this property that didn't let us have a pleasant stay, which is a real shame as this could be very easily fixed but it just shows a lack of interest or something else, I dont know: 1) all the bottoms of the jacuzzi were full of black mold showing a lack of maintenance, we couldn't use the jacuzzi for this reason. 2) The shower curtain is as dirty and disgusting as it can be after probably 1 year of never replacing it and never washing it, it even sticked to itself. Taking a shower wasn't a pleasant experience at all. 3) The shower had a CAR carpet in it, a car carpet for you to put your bare feet on it! Not acceptable for a payed stance. 4) Some pillows were stained with dark spots probably out of mold or mildew from moisture.
If the owner has not payed a visit in a long time and relays on a third party to provide maintenance and clean the house on every stay I strongly recommend firing them right away! You wouldn't spend $100 on fixing all these issues but because it wasn't taken care of before our stay then this prompted for a bad review.
Other minor issues: pretty much all the walls were stained and scratched, again for a lack of maintenance, the cover of the sofa bed was also very disgusting, you wouldn't even want to sit on it.
Location is good, easy access in a quiet secured neighborhood, good communication with host. For google maps, search for condominio malaga herradura and select the pool parking at the very top, home is close to there
Alberto - the owner, was super nice, the house was well equiped with air condition-close to the pool in private area.
