Nothing at all
On my way to Liverpool, I was contacted by the property and informed that the room I had booked was no longer available due to a management error. Instead, I was offered a room with a single bed for myself and my son, along with a promise 50% refund as compensation.
Unfortunately, despite this promise, I have never received the refund. I have repeatedly contacted the property for an update, but my messages are now being ignored, and the matter remains unresolved.
The accommodation itself was also extremely disappointing. The room was exceptionally small, with only a tiny window, making it unbearably hot and uncomfortable. It felt claustrophobic, and neither my son nor I were able to sleep. We ended up leaving at dawn because the conditions were so poor.
In addition, the property was not clean, and the shared toilets were in an unacceptable and unhygienic condition.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Not only was the booking not honoured, but the promised compensation has not been paid, and communication has ceased.
The room was spotless and comfortable
The area is very run down and I didn't feel completely happy there
Location for anfield was the only good thing
Room was awful. Holes in the walls. The thinnest bedding I have ever seen. The shelf had been ripped off the wall and was sat on top of the wardrobe, therefore no tea making facilities and the kettle was shoved inside the wardrobe. No cups etc. The blind on one of the windows was detatched. Stains on the walls. Stains on the bed base.
I booked with the belief there was a private bathroom, it was infact shared but absolutely filthy. The bath mat needed binning, it was marked with brown stains. There was old toiletries laying about, a filthy mirror and the shower was not cleaned. I actually didn't stay the whole night it was that bad. I went to the gig nearby and drove home. Nearby parking is £10 to park behind the pub across the road on uneven wasteland. Overall was poor.
The proximity to the Stadium
The sleepless night due to road traffic outside. We couldn't close the window due to the temperature of the room and the outside temperature. A room fan would have been handy. The size of the room was cramped for 3 grown men. The foul smell of the drains was disgusting. Ive slept in better accommodation in Iraq.
The exit.
There was snots all over the wall, states there’s a kettle there wasn’t. Bathroom was covered in sick. Would not recommend it’s more like a crack den than a hotel. The room was that bad we left after 5 minutes and arranged different accommodation. The keys you get an email the day of stay which states to collect at the shop next door which had its shutters down. When I rang the number on the door she stated they were closed but asked if I liked alcohol. Should have known then!
Brilliant little room and en suite for the money. Be back in two weeks for a few days .
The place is seriously run down
The owner had a terrible attitude i was a little bit late checking ouf so he decided to open my room door without any knock first and started threatening me infront of my 7 year old
Hotel cerca de Anfield
todo perfecto
It is ok
Shower not working, hole in the walls, just one towel, watered down soap, bedding on lower bunk beds
It was very convenient to spend the night after attending the football game at Anfield which is within walking distance (less than 10 minutes walking). I had a comfortable sleep at night and I found the room and bathroom to be quite clean.
The lighting in the room could be better, and I wasn't able to roll up the curtain.
