Fijn verblijf op loopafstand van El Chalten
Pros:

Fijn appartement met een heerlijk bed om te ontspannen na een dag hiken. Goede locatie bij het busstation en op loopafstand van het centrum. Ook met de auto is het ideaal, want je kunt parkeren voor de deur.

Cons:

Contact met de host was over het algemeen goed en snel, behalve op het moment van aankomt. Toen hebben we een paar uur moeten wachten voor we in het appartement konden. Gelukkig heeft El Chalten leuke koffietentjes om de tijd te vullen en kwam de host met een tegemoetkoming voor het ongemak.

Cons:

The booking showed there was no breakfast. I contacted the hotel to ask about breakfast options as it was New Years. Was surprised that breakfast was provided although the reservation indicated it would not be.

I would avoid staying here as the property seems to be under construction.
Pros:

It was centrally located and the front-of-house staff tried to be very accommodating. Breakfast was a nice touch.

Cons:

The owner misrepresents the state of the apartments while charging a high price. While nicely furnished, it is clearly still under construction or very poorly constructed. There are no handrails on very steep steps which one of our group members fell down and the safety railings on the high loft are very flimsy and unsafe. Some of our walls were unpainted with rough exposed plaster, light switches broken, tap fittings loose, water in the shower either extremely hot or cold, bedside lights with no plugs for electricity redendering them useless.

The person on duty had some sympathy for the situation, but while he tried to convey our dissatisfaction to the manager and owner, they werent willing to accommodate us in any manner. Looking at other reviews it seems other guest have also experienced the same poor conditions and owner attitude.

Lastly, a strong wind blew during the night (which is expected). Its clear some of the panels on the roof are loose, as they clattered loudly throughout the night making it difficult to sleep.

Pros:

Tuve una estadía muy linda. El lugar es muy cómodo y bien cuidado. Quiero destacar especialmente la atención: las personas que trabajan allí fueron siempre muy amables y cordiales, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más agradable. Sin dudas, un lugar al que volvería y que recomiendo.
