BELOW ARE THE PICTURES OF WHAT WE EXPECTED VS WHAT WE GOT (1st photo is what was expected)
As we checked in we were given the first floor which looked nothing like what we had booked and was right next to Jack hammering coming from the renovations in the pool area. We then confronted the staff in reception and I showed her the photos of what we booked and explained that the room we got was not the right room. She hesitated to put us in another room but eventually we got the new keys. Headed to floor 11 and still it was not what we booked. Great views but nothing in the apartment matched the online pictures. As we got settled into our room, I then got a phone call from reception asking if we could leave a good review because she changed our room... on further inspection we noticed the bin wasn't emptied and had rubbish in it, glasses were dirty and covered in dirty marks and prints. No privacy curtains in the main dining room, just sheer curtains which means any of the buildings facing is could see in, phone is diconnected and when we went to check out after our stay, no staff were available as it was all closed up at 8:30am on a weekday. Unfortunately we will not be booking/staying there again due to these reasons. Apart from the view, we did not enjoy our stay.
The views from the apartment were really excellent and the location good, just across the street to the beach. Parking facilities were good.
The beds were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. The single bed I slept in was just a foam block and the bed-skirt torn and hanging off at the bottom end, the curtains didn’t close properly. The main bedroom mattress was lumpy and old. Fridge had not been cleaned properly and the kitchen poorly equipped. There was some mould in the bathrooms. The mugs in the kitchen were an absolute disgrace and looked like they had never been washed - we went out and bought some to use. Only one tiny piece of soap provided in each bathroom, no other toiletries, one towel and no hand towel. The owner needs to spend a few dollars.
We have stayed there before and that is why we decided to returned, location is perfect.
We were not advised about maintenance schedules regarding the pool and we were not able to use it, it would have been good to know about this before booking the property as we were looking forward to use the pool. 😡
Also fire detector in main room was beeping all night , starting around midnight.
We stayed for 3 nights and we only have one roll of toilet paper for each toilet. 😆😆

Pool was getting a refurb, and wasn't advised.
couple of basic maintenance within the property - light bulb needs replacing in bedroom, ice machine in frig wouldn't open.

Airconditioner ONLY in Loungeroom. Was expecting to be cool at night on the Gold Coast - Bedrooms were HOT (Fans only and they were noisy) When you search for aircon they should describe which room it is in. Smoke Detector started beeping at 6AM and contacted the Manager - Was not fixed by checkout. Was VERY annoying.
The location was perfect! Walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious. Secure underground car parking. Check in-out was very easy.
The apartment advertising was listed as being on a higher floor but the actual apartment was on the ground floor.
There are some really basic maintenance issues that need resolving eg: the exhaust fan in the ensuite was not working, the down lights in the lounge were all flickering, the privacy louvres on the balcony door were off their tracks and were difficult to close.
There is only one aircon in the whole apartment and it needs a good clean.
We did have an issue with the smoke detector in the main bedroom beeping in the late evening. The onsite manager came and removed it straight away after I had messaged them, which we were very thankful for.
It was modern
Paid 580 dollars for 2 nights off peak in February. Check in was hard. They didn't find my name and said I didn't have a booking. Finally was found after I wrote my name down on paper. Was shown a room off reception on the ground level. Was told to park in our room number carpark but the property manager had parked there already. Had to park somewhere else then move the car again later. What I booked showed me a view on a higher level. Which is false advertising. Extremely disappointed. I expressed my concerns and was told it was one of the better apartments as the others are not refurbished, I asked if anything on a higher level was available as I booked in November last year. She said no. It was booked out. We had to accept it as no refunds. One little air conditioning in the wrong spot which done little to cool down the space. No air con in the bedrooms which received all the afternoon sun and was backed onto the pool, couldn't open windows as everyone could then see into our rooms. The ensuite didn't even have a soap holder for the soap in the shower or sink. Didn't sleep as it was so hot. The couch was old and sunk into it when sat on. The remote had sticky tape on the batteries so when you tried to work it you had to wiggle it to turn it on. Fire alarm started beeping, I rung reception, which was closed (during opening hours)and pressed a number to go to the property manager 'keith' which didn't answer and left message. It kept beeping more and more so we had to use the controls to make it stop which set the alarm off which was stressful. The floors were dirty. Stains. I wouldn't go back after expecting a higher leveled unit advertised. Didn't have a good time. Didn't sleep well. Lights didn't turn on in the lounge room they flickered. Didn't relax at all. Couldn't wait to go home. Don't recommend it at all.
Perfect location
Unfortunately had to wait as the apartment was not ready for us to move into on check in time as previous tenants vacated late. Also the mattresses were very uncomfortable and need replacing. The carpet in the second bedroom was soiled and unclean.

Location was great, overlooking the ocean, big windows, verandah. Reception was really good. Apartment presented really well being spacious and modern. Furniture did the job being neither too much or too little. Lift keyed to floor and parking was allocated so no issues. Aircon worked well and quietly. Kitchen well equipped. Water had no odour or taste so good to drink. Plenty of hanging space for clothes. Bathrooms good and clean.
Details were concerning such as sheer curtain in dining area falling apart with big rips due to weathering. Didn’t notice this initially until trying to close it. Oven and exhaust very greasy and need a good clean, smelled of oil. Glass Stove top needed stains removed. Queen mattress cheap, hard and bouncy and every move of partner disturbed sleep quality. Blanket on queen bed was a single. Some lamps didn’t work due to poor location of PowerPoints and lack of extension leads. Bathroom needed footmat and hand towel. Due to salt exposure windows and doors hard to open/close, this is a Body Corp issue and probably affects the entire building being on the ocean front. When the wind is strong as it was our first day, it whistles through poor closures and is very noisy in some rooms which would disturb anyone sleeping in them.
