Great spot. Would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Excellent location, close to shops and restaurants, just across the road from the beach and with great views!
We stayed in apartment 13. Cannot fault this place at all. Spacious apartment with everything we needed, and a lovely balcony.
The trolleys for you to take your gear up to your room in the lift was a fantastic idea and very helpful!
The pool was fantastic! Met some lovely people there too. Very comfortable and clean.
Undercover secure parking was also very good.

Loved it! Super comfortable for my mother and I for a 5 day stay! We were sorry to have to leave.
Pros:

Perfect location - near shops, but far enough away that the noise was minimal. Beautiful water views too. Well tended garden and pool areas.

Cons:

Could use a little TLC in the halls.

Great little place in central location.
Pros:

The location was great.
Our unit was very homely and well resourced.
Genuinely felt like a home away from home.
The ground floor has limited views but is very accessible,

Cons:

Check-in was hard, but they were changing systems, and it was resolved quickly.

Unfortunately we probably won’t stay at Charlton Apartments again
Pros:

Location was great. Apartment was a good size. Parking was excellent.

Cons:

Not as clean as we would have liked. Beds felt very hard. Dishwasher didn’t work and when I emailed I was told they were aware which it would have been nice to know. There was also a state school triathlon on and that meant the road was closed so if we had of known we could have parked the car around the corner instead of tracking someone down and getting a police escort. Which we needed to do as we had a wedding to attend.

Lovely stay overall
Pros:

- great great location, beach 🏖️ across the road, lovely cafe and a great Italian Resterant next door, lovely view from balcony
- well equipped kitchenette

Cons:

only the main bedroom and dining area have air conditioning. The other two bedrooms don’t have A/C, but they do have ceiling fans. We kept the doors open to help keep cool.

Lots more cleaner places to stay in Hervey Bay!
Pros:

The location was excellent, beach across the road and walking distance to shops.

Cons:

Key pick up is at a different location to the accommodation. The unit hadn't been cleaned when we arrived (admittedly we arrived at 1pm not 2pm). But the key was available so we thought that the room would be ready.
I rang the number and was told we were early, he had 1 cleaner for 3 units and to come back. We came back 2 hours later, yes the beds were made (Queen sheets on king size bed), clean towels and the tiled floor had been hurriedly mopped.
Wasn't impressed when I stood on a fake purple fingernail, found that the dishwasher didn't work and stank to high heaven plus other cleaning issues.
When I texted these issues, his response was "sometimes things are missed". 🤮

You had me at ‘beach views’.
Pros:

Friendly caretaker and cleaning staff. Great location. Balcony with beach views, directly across from the beach.
Tidy apartment (a little run down - in need of some TLC in areas).
Kitchen facilities were great for our 4 night stay.
Would stay again.

Apartment needs a little TLC.
Need to pick up room key from real estate at the other end of the esplanade.
