Hotel Casablanca Tortuguero

The hotel is located a short walk from the citycenter. From the porch you have two meters to the river. Nice chairs to sig and watch the sunset. The owners was fantastic. They helped you with everything. Nice and clean room with a very good aircondition. For me, this was love at first sight!

Neanmoins, la description d'Hotels.com était erronée car il etait indiqué piscine et possibilté de petit déjeuner, critères qui nous ont poussé à prendre ce logement, or il n'y avait rien de tout cela. Quand nous avons voulu vérifier sur le site, Hotels.com indiquait qu'il ne gérait plus cette location! Incroyable car Hotels.com me demande de repondre a la fiche de satisfaction.
Concernant le logement proprement dit, la description etait peu détaillée. Il est situé un peu loin du centre du village, surtout quand il pleut, le chemin etant en terre.
Le logement est de bonne taille, mais n'avait ni armoire pour ranger nos vêtements, ni chaises, ni table, ni bouilloire, ni machine à café. Or pas de café proche pour prendre un petit dejeuner. Isolation murs et toit insuffisante, on entend parler les voisins.
Par contre présence d'un coffre non indiqué que nous avons decouvert le dernier jour car installé sous le lavabo de la salle de bains.

Clean facilities, easy communication with the owner, and an awesome view of the water makes this place a great stay.

Quiet, hasi it’s own dock for boats, shuttles pick you up the property as long as you wait for them outside.owner connects you with a tour company that is very reliable . Rooms have hot water an air conditioning which is a blessing when you come back from the outdoor activities. Love the place and donot think there is a nicer place this close to the village.

This property was just as described. The staff was excellent and arranged to have someone at the water taxi on each end to help guide us from La Pavona to Tortuguero to Casablanca. We didn’t notice the “no hot water” on the description but the shower was refreshing on the hot day. Air conditioning was excellent in every way. It would’ve been nice to have blankets on the beds, especially on the bottom beds (just a sheet) but not a huge deal for us. The pool would be fun for kids (it is the size of a hot tub). The staff was very prompt to respond on WhatsApp when they weren’t nearby.

Great stay in a clean room with a large bed and bathroom perfect for our stay in Tortuguero. The room had air conditioning and a great view right on the water with two rocking chairs on a nice porch area. Within walking distance to the town.

The sheets and pillow cases are very dirty. There are big stains on the pillow cases and sheets, different color of hairs on the sheets. Not a good experience.

This property has a central location in the small village that is easily walkable to the main attractions and less than a 5 min walk from where the small ferry boats arrive. It has a very small clean pool, fridge and coffee making facilities. It was well priced and we preferred to spend the extra money on the tours. Air-conditioning was perfect. There is a well priced supermarket on the corner and an ice-cream shop and cafe just a few doors down. It is on the way to the night turtle tour. We enjoyed it as a family of 5

Great little place next to the beach and quick walk into town. Would have been great to have some more lights in the property but very small detail. The aircon was a gift sent from heaven.

There is a supermarket at 1 minute.
Be careful, there is no ATM on Tortuguero and the only solution is the restaurant in front the supermarket that proposes cash, with your credit card. It can be useful.

Soggiorno presso la "depandance", Casablanca Torre. Meno centrale della struttura principale ma più tranquilla e con un magnifico affaccio sul canale. A due minuti dalla spiaggia. Ottima pulizia. Servizio wifi e smart tv. La barca da La Pavona ci ha lasciati e ripresi direttamente dal molo davanti alla camera.

Un'ottima soluzione per il Tortuguero, porto vicino all'hotel e proprietario super gentile.

Was a beautiful and clean room for my family if 4. It was updated nicely, walkable to all town restaurants and shops, and the air conditioning was heaven with the humidity. Definitely recommend!

Great little place to stay. Downtown, clean and spacious. Free laundry service, nice balcony. Ac worked great

This was a nice, modest place at a decent price in the heart of Tortuguero. Not a lot of frills but the staff was helpful and offered free laundry service.

The room was super cute and very comfortable! Lots of beds for larger families. My kids enjoyed the little pool. Henry and Zajaria (did I get that right? ) were super helpful! They helped with the TV, gave us extra blankets, and helped me with my Spanish. We had a great stay!

Beautiful hotel, able to walk to everything. Small pool for the kids.
