Pros:

The hosts were very flexible and let us check in early and check out at a later time. The apartment in itself is very quaint and the interior design is minimal and effective.

Cons:

Centipedes kept crawling in. Although anti bug 🐛 spray/ powder was available, I couldn’t use it because it is harmful to dogs.

Great place, would stay again
Pros:

Lovely flat, smart furnishings, easy to contact the host. Aci Trezza is about 20-25 minute walk in one direction and Lido Esagono a similar distance in the opposite direction. Grocery shops, bakeries, supermarket and lots of little restaurants all close by so the flat is pretty conveniently located.

Cons:

Takes several hours for the AC to cool down the flat.

Excellent modern renovated apartment in the heart of Aci Castello with private parking as a bonus
Pros:

Fantastic apartment in the centre of Aci Castello. The owners did a super job renovating an older building into 3 new modern apartments with a shared courtyard out the back and a shared terrace in the front. The apartment is very spacious with a large kitchen space, high ceilings, separate living area and bedroom/bathroom on mezzanine level with an additional one at ground level . High end kitchen & furnishing everywhere. Its less than 5 mins walk to the seafront and has a shared private parking space at the back, some inventive Sicilian driving required here at times :)

Very nice place to stay
Pros:

Beautiful modernized house, with washer and dryer, dishwasher. Air conditioning. They fixed everything that was missing or damaged right away

Cons:

One cleaning per week should be included in the price. The beach walking distance is not good and could have beach towels for guests.

Pros:

Modern apartment, private parking, 2 bathrooms, nice kitchen. Very good base for trips to Taormina, Etna or Catania. Lots of restaurants around.

Cons:

House is situated between two busy streets, it is quite noisy.
