We stayed in Room 302 at Sunrise Resort for a week-long vacation in July and absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home—and honestly, we only want to stay in this unit for any future visits!
Location: The resort is in an ideal spot—just a 5-minute walk to the beach, across Gulf Boulevard and through the TradeWinds parking lot. It’s also within easy reach of several top-rated, authentic restaurants, which made dining out a breeze.
Resort Amenities: The property is well-maintained and thoughtfully laid out. The pool and jacuzzi are clean and relaxing, and we especially enjoyed the gazebo and grill area, which we used twice for lunch. It’s a great setup for families or groups who enjoy cooking outdoors.
Room 302: This unit is exceptionally well-equipped. It has everything you’d want for a beach vacation—foldable chairs, umbrellas, plastic bins, shovels for the kids, and even a fishing rod, which came in handy at the beautiful little bay and fishing pier just behind the building.
Kitchen & Comfort: The kitchen is stocked with everything—plenty of cookware, utensils, spices, coffee filters—you name it. You don’t need to run out to buy basics; it’s all there. The mattresses are firm and comfortable, and there are plenty of towels, both for the bathroom and the beach. The interior has a cozy and inviting vibe, and the balcony view is simply magnificent.
Service & Parking: Communication with the staff was fast, clear, and courteous via email. Parking was never an issue—plenty of available spots, even during what seemed to be peak season.
Overall, Room 302 exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s the kind of place that truly makes you feel at home, and we’re already looking forward to coming back—only to this unit!
Location was great!
Condo was extremely dated, sofa dirty, bathroom was filthy and old. Floors made our feet black. Bedding smelled like mildew. Disappointing. Not worth the money.
the location for this apartment is fantastic. Views for both the Gulf Coast and the inland waterway from the apartment, and a very short walking distance to a fantastic beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and a short drive up to lots more choices. Overall, great value for money and great facilities.
The apartment itself is starting to look a bit dated now and could do with a renovation, but the location more than makes up for this. Great value for money
The location was good and the wildlife in the bay.
The door code didn't work. We called and they gave us a different code. We wanted an extra mirror maybe in bedroom and an extention cord would be handy.
Amazing location, clean building and condo. Great for vacay
The guest bed is super uncomfortable. It definitely needs a mattress topper cushion like the primary room bed. It also doesn’t go down to 70 degrees/below 72 so it’s always warm at night too. My back hurt sleeping on the guest bed. Only complaint.

IT's a good location with nicely set up condo layouts.
The management company (Liberte) is usually on top of things but this year was odd. Had to have someone work on our AC in the winter during our stay because the mgmt. company wanted it done. Couldn't get into the property at first and the answering service was no help...received no callback from the mgmt. company as I read and reread their confusing email trying to figure out which numbers worked for which locks. I would still be outside of the property if I hadn't figured it out myself despite their nonsensical email instructions.
The location is good, plenty of parking and the apartment is a really good size.
The property is really dated and in desperate need of an upgrade, especially couches and both bathrooms.
The instructions for how to enter the lobby were wrong. We arrived on a Sunday, and the lobby was locked. Absolutely no where in the instructions provided were we given a code to the door. We spent an hour with our two small children trying to get in, finally someone staying at the hotel let us in. We finally got someone on the phone who gave us the code. We were extremely disappointed in the check in process.
The location was great.
Master bedroom needs room, darkening curtains bad. Inless you like getting up at 4:30 in the morning when the sun is rising and coming through blinds. The ceiling fans need new blades and are coming unscrewed from the motor and are very dirty. You can smell sewer gas coming from the front toilet. In desperate need of new pillows.
Excellent communication with Liberte, great location, and amenities! Appreciated that there were starter packets of coffee and soap.

We were given directions to find a key in a lock box that would let us into the lobby so we could get to the room. There was not a lock box and fortunetly a kind person gave us the code to get into the lobby (they said the keys had not been used in years). The condo is in a great location but it is not very clean and could use some repairs. There were clothes from the last renter under the bed(tells you how well they clean)
