I love the pond.
One word about this place - soothing
No Netflix on television
The rooms are very bright and feature floor to ceiling glass. We had the corner room by the pool. It offered much privacy except when patrons sat on the picnic table outside and smoked. The pool was surprisingly chilly but offered much refreshment on a hot day.
Nearby restaurants are spread out in the surrounding neighborhood. Mosquitos in the room were initially a problem. The issue stems from the fact that the large windows have several vent holes to through which insects pass unrestricted. We simply plugged the hole with toilet paper and the mosquitoes could no longer enter the room. Also there are power-lines hanging precariously close to the pool.
The property is split into two parts, the hotel and the homestay at ground level. We stayed in the homestay, which was much nicer than the photos we seen previously. The rooms were clean and tidy with a comfy bed. The location is reasonably quiet with a shop next door selling water/snacks etc and a cafe opposite. We used the pool too which was really nice.
The toilet seat was a bit loose. The shower was ok. A safe would give peace of mind.
This was a stop on the way to another location. Price was very good and was not expecting much, but for what it was - great!
Very low bed - not good if you have limited mobility
Try their home stay area, it's much better than the hotel
A lot of mosquitoes and flies since the home stay part is right next to a big koi pond. There was rats running around all the time, including I the morning
Fee for small water bottle which is usually for free even at the most low cost accommodation.
Nice garden and swimming pool in the yard, pretty clean, big room, parking on site.
No breakfasts.
