Breakfast was sufficient, but there were no hot dishes, for example scrambled eggs. The location by the river is very atmospheric, with wonderful fresh air, quiet and cozy, but it’s a bit of a long walk to the city center. There are two museums nearby, for which cards are provided. The natural history museum is especially interesting, with models of animals from all over the world.
Since there is no reception and no permanent staff at the entrance, the system for getting the room keys is a bit complicated.
Surroundings are nice, 6 min cycling to the center. very calm, good shower, good bedroom
I booked a "Double room with garden view" which was a window facing a stone wall (picture attached). Breakfast was: biscuits, grana padano cheese, salami, coffee, toasted bread, jam (no butter), one defrosted (baked in the oven, yet raw inside) croissant and lactose free yogurt. wifi didn't work very well (worked for around 10 minutes, had to switch to mobile data, try again after a few minutes and worked again)
Beautiful location and amenities, clean, interesting history, good breakfast, kind staff. Blowdryer in the room didn’t work.

Location was great, tucked away from downtown buzz on secluded street along the river, but still within walkable distance to main attractions. We had a good sleep after our flight in. Breakfast options were OK, but no hot food except warm strudel (which was great with coffee btw). Very reasonable price for what you get.

Old historic building full of rustic charm with nice location by the river. We liked the large terrace where we could park the motorbike and had outdoor breakfast. It was a very warm day so we appreciated the Aircon after long day of riding. Clean with comfy beds and walk in shower.
The room was quite small so it was a bit of a squeeze with our bike luggage. Breakfast was okay but the selection was more limited than expected.
Beautiful old building in quiet surroundings a little away from the center of Bassano, but directly on the Brenta.
On our arrival, and up to the last five minutes of our stay no reception or staff was present. On our departure a non-italian speaking couple (which we had never seen before) explained the modalities of payment; we would have greatly preferred to be informed about these facts by a receptionist in a one-on-one conversation during the two previous days of our stay. Our room on the 2nd floor was rather dark and without a view (e.g., of the Brenta); with luggage the ascent to the second floor proved tedious. By phone we were told to park our car on the edge of the public road in front of the building, despite a non-parking sign. Overall the room equipment was ok, but the spirit of traditional hospitality and warm italianità was unfortunately not at all present.

It has been promised a garden view but the room had a window looking at a wall. The room was really hot at my arrival and the lock was broken, so you couldn’t lock the door from inside. In the bathroom the light was on the opposite wall, behind your face.
Nice and peaceful what i was looking for.
By the Brenta river, a short stroll to the town.
