Pros:

Good position: very close to the center. Not close to ski lifts, but reachable with car.
Price: we managed to find a very good offer for a weekend.

Cons:

Lackluster Customer Service: Unfortunately, our experience at Apfel Hotel was marred by a lack of hospitality from the staff. Upon arrival, we encountered an issue for which we sought assistance, only to find that the service advertised on the hotel's website was not available. Despite our request for help in resolving the situation, the personnel showed little interest in accommodating us or addressing our concerns. This initial encounter left a sour taste and set the tone for our stay.

Hygiene Concerns: The cleanliness of our room was a significant letdown. Considering the price point, we didn't expect luxury, but we did anticipate a basic level of cleanliness. Unfortunately, this expectation was not met. The room lacked the level of tidiness and sanitation one would hope for in a hotel environment. This aspect of our stay was disappointing and left us feeling uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable Sleeping Arrangements: The comfort of the accommodations was another area where Apfel Hotel fell short. While one bed met our expectations, the second sleeping option—a purported sofa bed—was anything but comfortable. The sofa itself was old and small, and its conversion into a bed was unconvincing. Several guests who used this makeshift bed reported waking up with back problems, highlighting the inadequacy of this sleeping arrangement.

Cramped Quarters: Space within the room was also a concern. Described as a two-room setup, the reality was far from spacious. In truth, the room felt cramped, resembling more of a divided single-room flat than a comfortable hotel accommodation. The lack of space detracted from our overall comfort and enjoyment of the stay.

In conclusion, our experience at Apfel Hotel was disappointing on several fronts. From subpar customer service to cleanliness issues, uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, and cramped quarters, the hotel fell short of our expectations.

Cons:

the room was not nice compared to the other room given to the ones we were with. when we asked if we could be next to them, they didn’t accommodate and wanted to charge us more for the room next to it.
