Staff tried hard but very disorganised

Beautiful mini honeymoon
Pros:

Hotel was very quiet, only saw other guest on our third morning. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was lovely, chef was nice and chatty. We had a huge bed and our room was very clean and tidy and we really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

It was very quiet, lights were usually off in the restaurant which gave the look that it was all closed. We missed breakfast on the first morning because at check in we were told the bar and breakfast was closed, when breakfast was open. There were signs on the doors saying reception was closed and to call the maintenance man if assistance was needed which was not good for guests.
Bathroom could do with some maintenance as there was no mastic around the bath, just plastic trim with gaps. Minimal furniture in the room, a small wardrobe and 2 small drawers. Not enough for 2 adults for more than 1 night.
Wifi was terrible which meant the firestick kept cutting out and buffering and Iphones kept losing connection despite being on their wifi.
Aircon and hearing unit was difficult to control as there were no instructions so took a while of button bashing to get the temperature right.

The room was nice but that was about it really.

When we arrived there was no where to park we had to park in a different rd .and i have a blue badge.

The separate suite was great, but I and my friend felt we paid over the odds for what we got.
Pros:

The breakfast was adequate but unfriendly chef.

Cons:

The accommodation needed a clean of the windows etc.On approaching I felt an air of neglect.

Ult to lacate a member of staff.I felt they were about to close down.THE PEOPLE WHO DID THE DAILY CLEAN DIDN’t hoover the carpet daily and in the end we moved the table ourselves for them to see the bits dropped.There was no restaurant for a few nights and unfortunately no dinner plates provided in the kitchen cupboards
I felt I pais for 5 star accommodation and got about 3.

Could have been so much better, staff front of house let this hotel down
Pros:

Good location, rooms very spacious.

Cons:

Breakfast was an absolute disaster, the first pot of coffee brought out hadn’t been filtered, the second pot you could have stood a spoon in it , asked for some milk, which came in a glass, at that point we decided to have breakfast elsewhere.

Drain problem in room 105 not resolved and no real compensation or support
Pros:

Breakfast was very satisfactory and beautifully served. Didn’t need the cooked breakfast as the continental was enough. Toast was beautiful .

Cons:

It was all satisfactory . No complaints.

Amazing Staff & Perfect Location
Pros:

Very nice hotel surrounded by the beautiful New Forest. The staff was extremely helpful and Daniel went above and beyond for us to accommodate our early departure and make us breakfast before they start serving for the rest of the guests!

Cons:

Small parking area.

Disapointed
Pros:

We were very disapointed to find the toilet was stained and not very clean we were then advised breakfast included did not actually mean full breakfast this was only a continental breakfast we then waited 1/2 hour for a coffee to be served no buffet service at all. Not quiet what we expected.
Although not very busy service was not good. possibly due to complaining about the included breakfast only being continental

Cons:

Toilet cleanliness and the morning breakfast should have Buffet service Juice and cereal to enable you to initialy make a start not waiting 1/2 hour to be served.
