Cosy room with amazing views but very basic/budget
Pros:

The view from the window (top floor) was gorgeous! Could see Arthur's seat, the city, and the Pentlands. The room was cosy and the bed was very comfy. The lady serving breakfast was lovely and friendly. The place is conveniently close to several bus stops to get into town easily.

Cons:

It wasn't super clean; towels had stains on them and there was hair in the bathroom. The WiFi (on the top floor) was weak and often disconnected. The shower pressure and temperature often dipped. The toilet cistern constantly leaked (internally) and refilled which was a bit noisy. The smell of the cooked breakfast down below wafted up to the top floor each morning. The listing on booking.com advertised that slippers were provided with the room, however no slippers were provided.

It was manageable for two night stay

Needed updating. Shower kept stopping mid shower. Nowhere to hang clothes no dressing table.

Goed verblijf voor een bezoek aan de stad
Pros:

De locatie was prima, de eerste dag zijn we gaan lopen naar het centrum en de tweede dag gingen we met de bus. De kamer was ruim en prettig.

Cons:

We zaten op de bovenste verdieping en er was geen mogelijkheid voor evacuatie als er brand uitbreekt. Dat vonden we niet prettig.
De douche werkte matig.

Gute Unterkunft mit freundlichem Service und guter Lage
Pros:

Gute Unterkunft und sehr freundlicher Service. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. Man konnte zwischen verschiedenen Optionen wählen. Die Lage ist ebenfalls gut. Es ist zwar etwas außerhalb der Innenstadt, aber die Bushaltestelle ins Zentrum ist ganz in der Nähe

Cons:

Es gab keinen Abstellplatz für mein Rad, aber ich konnte es mit auf das Zimmer nehmen.
