Pros:

Great panoramic view, feels like you are in nature. Great kitchen that had everything you need.

Cons:

Floor was not clean, tap wasn't working, showerhead was kinda broken. I was missing someone at the reception

Gute Lage ausserhalb des Zentrums.
Zimmer, Küche und Aufenthaltsraum sind sauber
Frühstück war reichlich und gut.

Cons:

Das Holzhaus ist sehr hellhörig. Geräusche vom Nachbar sind in der Nacht störend.
Die Ausstattung ist funktional.

Quite and lushgreen place
Pros:

The scenic view and lush garden full of birds and agoutis. We enjoyed the balcony and hammock very much. The rooms and the building is very spacious and quite as there were few other guests. On a 15min walk from the centre.

Cons:

The breakfast was served quite late. We stayed three nights and the breakfast was minimalistic (scrambled egg, mashed patato, one slice of tomato and fruitjuice) and the same all days. Some variation and diversity would have been highly appreciated.
There is no staff arround except for check in and breakfast. You are responsible to check and close all doors of the main building yourself.

Draps moisis, responsable désagréable.
Pros:

- Le cadre, au milieu de la jungle

- La femme sur place qui s’occupe du petit déjeuner et du ménage est très aimable

Cons:

- Les draps moisis. Odeurs et tâches de moisissures sur le drap principale + cheveux

- La responsable Paola : très désagréable, qui ne voit que business mais n’en a pas l’esprit 😄 (pour avoir discuter avec pas mal de monde dans le village, elle a la réputation d’être antipathique et désagréable ^^)

- La connexion internet, nous avions réservé ce logement exclusivement pour travailler et avons été privés de wifi toute la journée. On nous a reproché d’avoir appuyé sur un bouton sur le boîtier (ce qui est véridique, après 2h de travail perdues sans internet et sans nouvelles de personnes malgré nos relances, nous avons tenté de réinitialiser le boîtier, qui est accessible et dont aucune mention « don’t touch » n’apparaît). Nous n’avons pas apprécié le traitement qui a suivi à notre égard.

Fantastiske sted og enormt sødt personale!
Pros:

Fantastiske omgivelser og udsigt. Tukaner uden for vinduet og bjerge i baggrunden! Personalet er enormt søde!

Cons:

Personalet var ikke særlig tit til stede, og nogen gange manglede man dem. Når de var der, var de enormt søde og hjælpsomme, men man var tit overladt til sig selv.

AVOID unless you like "rustic" accomodation. Do yourself a favor and stay in town.
Pros:

Probably the only good thing about Temple I was that it was very quiet.

Cons:

Where do I start..in summary, it was a 'bait and switch'. 1) very poor check-in experience, 2) no mosquito netting which was explicitly mentioned in the booking description, 3) it was damp everywhere and there was no heat, 4) the bathroom was horrible with not enough towels or even basic necessities like soap for shower, plus it smelled, 5) dead bugs on the floor so you had to be careful where you stepped, 6) morning breakfast was unpalatable, 7) the tours advertised with prices shown in the lobby were not bookable hence false advertising...which sums up the place !, and lastly 8) it was a good 15-20 min walk from downtown on a muddy road which in wet humid weather and with bags is not fun to walk on

Petit séjour sympa à Mindo
Pros:

Niché dans la nature, avec une jolie terrasse pour se détendre avec les colibris qui viennent se nourrir. La chambre est grande, salle de bain aussi. Le lieu est très mignon.

Cons:

Des rideaux plus opaques auraient été plus confortables. Une fenêtre n’en avait d’ailleurs pas dans la chambre. Pas mal de petits insectes le soir dans la salle de bain. Accueil un peu froid au début par la personne sur le site. L’eau dans la chambre ne devrait pas être payante surtout si celle du robinet n’est pas potable et sans la présence d’un tank d’eau à disposition dans la cuisine. C’était précisé qu’on ne pouvait pas payer en espèces sur place, puis arrivés là-bas on n’avait pas le choix que de payer en espèces…

Pros:

The nature around it is very beautiful and calms down. Teh breakfast was also very delicious and made with love. We enjoyed the big balcony and social area also as the opportunity to have a kitchen with a fridge.
