Newer hotel not far from plaza but pretty far from bus station. I didn’t have Wi-Fi so upon arrival I had to ask someone and I just went to a random Hostel that was close by hence I chose this. They have a handful of rooms somewhere which do not have windows, but because the rooms are not too much more than the dorm you have to book them ahead of time so if you don’t know your schedule, it’s hard to plan. The dorm is pretty large and faces the street so it can get pretty noisy at times during my time there. It was pretty hot and I wish they had better fans in the dorm. One fan was pretty powerful, but the other fan was pretty weak, and there were only two fans For about 10 beds. I think one evening there was a very inconsiderate person who just kept talking nonstop with one of the staff outside late into the night, so one of the minus is that the front desk is right outside the dorm so if people wanna congregate and talk, it can get pretty noisy. Another day there was a big group of five or six people and they dominated the whole table and it got really noisy so it’s a hit or miss what type of people you have to share the dorm with there’s plenty of outdoor space so that’s nice but only two toilet and two showers so if the Hostel is at full capacity, it is a bit inconvenient. I normally had to shower whenever I could in the afternoon when people are out since it was so hot. There was also a problem with the doorbell during the time I was there so I kept yelling and knocking, and it took a while for someone to come out. I didn’t realize that there was a little incense stick that people were to use to poke with the button of doorbell no longer existed. In the morning, a couple was trying to leave at 6 o’clock in the morning and we were locked in because there were no instructions on how to leave the premises which can be dangerous if there were a fire, but since I was an early bird I try to help and was able to get them out. One in the staff that works for longer term doesn’t speak English at all, so it would be very helpful to have a little bit of Spanish. Overall decent place.
