Comfortable and clean
Pros:

The owner is very friendly and funny. He stays with us on the 2nd floor so he can assist if we have any problem. The location is quite far from the downtown but very close to Franky statue (Onepiece Straw hat's member - just 3 min drive). The futong is comfortable, we love it.

Cons:

There is a little restaurant close to the house. It would be better if you have meals before arrival. But if you would like to try the local restaurant, it would be worth to try. :)

Pros:

A perfect location in a quaint town near Mt Aso. It was a traditional style guesthouse with futons and tatami floor with the modern convenience of a coffee machine. It was an easy walk to a local izakaya for dinner and supermarket for last minute items.
The host Stefano was fun and engaging. He was so helpful. Can’t wait to visit the region again.

That we only had one night.

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

The lodging was clean, neat and comfortable. The owner was friendly.
There were home made pizzas & drinks for order which were great when you arrived in evening and didn’t feel like going out. Coffee/tea & home baked bread for breakfast were complementary.
It was an enjoyable stay!

Pros:

Nous avons apprécié la qualité de l'accueil de STÉPHANO, sa réactivité à toutes nos questions, sa gentillesse et disponibilité. La chambre était très spacieuse, confortable, avec en libre service un machine à café expresso Italienne. Dîner avec des produits de qualité et du jardin, fait maison.

Pros:

Très belle chambre japonaise avec salle de bain et toilettes privés. L'hôte est tres accueillant et donne des conseils sur les activités, restaurant dans le coin. Le petit bonus avec du pain frais et un bon café à disposition.

Cons:

Un peu difficile pour rejoindre Aso si on a pas de voiture, il faut s'armer de patience...

What a surprise! a beautiful property, with a wonderful host, we will be back
Pros:

Our host Stefano was so warm and welcoming he made our stay exceptionally good, we didn’t expect our room to be so well designed in a thoughtful Japanese style. If you are driving through this area, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property, we wish we could have stayed another night.
To top it off Stefano is a chef, his restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

Fabulous and traditional
Pros:

Great location for exploring the Aso region. The room was huge with plenty of amenities, fridge, crockery and cutlery for example and there were extra futons if one is not enough for sleeping on. Fabulous host too

Nothing. It was all fab!
