Would come here again. Vibrant street. Near Vatican. Great find!
Pros:

Wonderful staff who were super accommodating to us. Nice breakfast. Lovely room -- perfect for the two of us. A/C worked great. Close to Vatican. Nice view of St. Peter's dome from room.

I will happily return again.
Pros:

Wonderful staff. They were very kind and caring. A small peaceful retreat in the heart of Rome. Great rooms and a lovely breakfast.

Cons:

Loved the property but I would not recommend it to people with mobility issues especially if using mobility aids. The elevator goes to the fifth floor and then you need to climb a flight of shallow steps to the sixth floor. The staff is wonderful about coming and dealing with your luggage and carrying it up for you but if you are someone that has difficulty with steps, this would not be the ideal property.

Pros:

Perfect place for our stay in Rome. Location in Prati is quiet but lively, away from the tourist crowds near the monuments. We had an early morning Vatican tour and The Place 217 was just a 12-minute walk to the meeting place. We were able to walk to all the major attractions, including the Colosseum and Trastevere neighborhood. We loved the vibe of the hotel and its antique elevator. The reception area felt like our own living room after a day of outings. There were plenty of shops and restaurants close by. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made. For the one early tour morning, the staff left juice and yogurt in our mini fridge and packaged baked treats in our room. Pauline and the rest of the staff were very accommodating. I highly recommend.

Nothing. Perfect fit for us.

Tolles und außergewöhnliches Hotel. Man fühlte sich gleich wohl.
Pros:

Alles! Extrem freundliches Personal. Ruhiges Hotel, da wenige Zimmer. Dafür konnte man sehr entspannt frühstücken. Das Frühstück war klasse und man wurde sehr gut bedient. Die Lage war auch perfekt!

Gibt nichts zu bemängeln

Beautiful place. Our room was amazing and fantastic bathroom with a spa bath and sauna! Staff very friendly and accommodating as we needed some things printed and it was no problem for them. Thoroughly recommended

Absolut perfekt für einen Städtetrip, hervorragendes Personal!
Pros:

Lage ist optimal für einen Städtetrip. Die Engelsburg ist nur ca. 5-10 Minuten entfernt. Busse und die U-Bahn sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, man kommt von dort aus überall hin. Das Personal ist absolut hervorragend. Das Frühstück hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, man bekommt alle Arten von Kaffee frisch zubereitet, genau wie Eier, alles frisch auf den Tisch. Dazu eine gute Auswahl an Brot, Belag, Säften Joghurt und Cornflakes.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft ist innen etwas hellhörig, aber da es insgesamt nur 4/5 Zimmer sind, haben wir nichts mitbekommen, außer frühs wenn das Frühstück zubereitet wurde.

Traumhafte Unterkunft für eine Woche in Rom
Pros:

The Place 217 ist ideal gelegen - nah zum Vatikan, Petersdom und Engelsburg. Zu U-Bahn Station sind es ca. 600 Meter. Die Unterkunft ist im 6. Stock gelegen. Bis zum 5. Stock fährt ein historischer Fahrstuhl, die letzte Etage geht es über eine flache Treppe. Das Hotel-Team war super Nett und Hilfsbereit und hilft auch bei den Koffern für die letze Etage. Aus unserem Zimmer konnten wir den Petersdom sehen und das Bad war der Kracher: Eher schon ein eigener Wellnessbereich mit Whirlpool und Sauna. Die Sauna haben wir bei 31 Grad Aussentemperatur zwar nicht genutzt aber der Whirlpool bietet tolle Entspannung, wenn man den ganzen Tag auf Sightseeing war.
Das Frühstück war umfangreich und sehr lecker und von Tag zu Tag abwechslungsreich.
Wir haben hier während unserer Hochzeitsreise gewohnt uns es war rundum dem Anlass angemessen. Wir werden sicher wieder hier wohnen, wenn wir nochmal nach Rom kommen.
