Heerlijke plek om Sri Lanka te beginnen
Pros:

Mooi kleinschalig resort met lieve mensen. Je loopt in een paar minuten naar lenendige staat met genoeg restaurants. Wij verbleven hier 2 nachten na aankomst in Sr Lanka.

Cons:

Knusse nette kamer. Helaas was onze airco kapot (waardoor we een zeer hete laatste nacht hadden) maar ach, dat vergeet je ook weer snel.

Pros:

Heerlijk zwembad, supervriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt en in de buurt van restaurants. Het personeel staat altijd klaar om te helpen. De tuktuk tour en de rivier tour waren heel leuk om te doen! De bedden lagen trouwens ook lekker.

Cons:

Niks! Alleen jammer dat ze in de avond geen eten aanbieden. Maar er zijn genoeg lekkere restaurants in de buurt.

Pros:

Le cadre était très joli, un peu à l'écart du centre ville. Le petit déjeuner était super et varié sur les deux jours. Possibilité récupération navette à l'aéroport. Excursion possible. Nous avons aimé leurs services. Le cadre est reposant, pas loin de la plage. Nous avons fait un tour en tuk tuk en ville avec arrêt visite pour 40 dollars deux tuk tuk. Le personnel est très sympathique et toujours prêt à rendre service. Je recommande si vous passez à Negombo.

Pros:

A lovely place to recover after a long journey. This was our first stop in Sri Lanka, and after the tiring flight it was truly a breath of fresh air. The rooms are clean, the surroundings are peaceful and green, and we were given a very warm welcome.

The accommodation is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet at night. We had a wonderful stay here and can absolutely recommend this place!

Das Hotel war insgesamt in Ordnung. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben am Morgen unserer Abreise zum Flughafen ein Lunchpaket bekommen, da wir vor dem Frühstück abreisen mussten.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer sowie das Bad war relativ klein für 3 Personen. Außerdem hatten wir kaum Ablage- und Sitzmöglichkeiten außer die Betten. Auch waren viele Moskitos im Zimmer

Heerlijk verblijf, erg vriendelijk personeel en fijn gelegen.
Pros:

De accommodatie is fijn gelegen op loopafstand van het strand en leuke restaurantjes. Het zwembad is niet groot maar met de hoge temperaturen heerlijk verfrissend. Het personeel is erg behulpzaam en staat altijd voor je klaar. Echt een goed verzorgde accommodatie en zeer schoon.

Great location, close to the airport, so it is a nice option for a last night before travel. It is also close to the "city", so you can enjoy nearby restaurants and the beach.
Very helpful host.
Guesthouse easily organised a transport to the airport in the middle of the night.
Swimming pool is basically accessible 24/7. Pool towels are provided free of charge.
Beach is located within 5-10 minutes walk (but is not that nice because of the garbage).
Rooms have everything that you need for 1 night before a flight.
Guesthouse offers various drinks.

Cons:

Air conditioning is quite weak and even with the temperature set to 16 degrees it was still quite hot.

Downgrade room, no compensation, nosy staff
Pros:

While one of the female staff members was kind, the overall experience was not handled professionally.

Cons:

Disappointing, mainly due to the room downgrade and lack of proper handling.
We were given a downgraded room that did not match what we had booked. We noticed this immediately and even showed photos from Booking to compare, but were told the correct rooms were fully booked. No compensation was offered, yet we still had to pay the full price, which felt very unfair.
Another uncomfortable situation was when we said that my travelpartner and I were leaving at different times. We were asked many personal questions about this, which felt unnecessary and like an invasion of our privacy.

The room itself was not comfortable, and the bed was poor quality and looked childish.
Overall, not a place we would recommend!

Pros:

Très bel emplacement à 5 mn de la rue commerçante, chambres simples mais confortables, piscine et environnement très agréables.

Cons:

Un peu compliqué de savoir à quel moment manger ou boire un coup le personnel n’étant pas toujours sur place mais tout le monde est adorable.
