50 CHURCH STREET - GALLE FORT

Very tastefully decorated, great location in the centre of town but still quiet. Very spaceous room, overall really good facilities. We had the whole place to ourselves, very comfortable.

Très bien situé dans le Fort, à proximité des centre d'intérêts.
Nous avions réservé 2 chambres, une chambre dans le bâtiment principal (composé de 2 chambres, mais une était déjà occupée), l'idéal est de louer les 2 chambres dans ce bâtiment car on peut utiliser l'ensemble des parties communes, qui est un bel espace.
Notre deuxième chambre était dans le bâtiment juste à côté (mais cela n'était pas un problème d'être séparé), qui est un très bel espace sur 2 niveaux, on a une maison entière pour soi, avec une douche à ciel ouvert et un coin cuisine.

This place is a little haven in the middle of the fort. The streets of the fort itself can get busy (because it's beautiful so lots of foreign and local tourists go there) but stepping into this place any noise is just shut out. The reception area is so airy and cool after the heat outside and the rooms are incredible - I have also never seen a bed so big! Really helpful staff and thoughtful set up. We felt really welcome.

El edificio antiguo está localizado en el fuerte de Galle. La habitación es cómoda y limpia. El personal es muy atento.

La struttura é una casa coloniale storica del tutto ristrutturata e ben arredata. La nostra camera era spaziosa e molto confortevole.
Consigliata per la sua ottima posizione all’interno del forte e per la sua vicinanza ai tanti localini dove cenare.

What a delightful space. Modern renovations in a historical building makes for a relaxed and comfortable stay. Everything close by and our host was thoughtful and flexible. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends

The old Dutch architecture was a real highlight. Everything was thought about to make for a very comfortable stay and the location was perfect. Right in the hustle and bustle but still quite at night. The staff were super accommodating of our late flight, allowing us to use the facilities well after normal check out time. I highly recommend.

Beautiful, characterful and tastefully decorated. Lovely art-filled spaces at ground floor level with well-appointed rooms above. Nabil could not have been more helpful, assisting us whenever needed. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.
The house is in a perfect location, at the heart of the Fort, ideally situated to explore the many shops and restaurants within Galle Fort. A lovely stay.

It's 2 rooms in a sprawling house with kitchen downstairs. Good for a group of 4 where you have whole property to yourself. Location inside the fort is nice - though no sea view. Nice and clean.

Central location. Quiet, and great air conditioner in room kept my stay cool. Clean rooms, good facilities for make own food.

We loved this property, it’s spacious and quiet, in the middle of Galle Fort and close to everything including plenty of cafes and restaurants. The furnishings and architecture design are very impressive. We were woken every morning by peacocks and birds. We never actually saw anyone over the 2 nights, we were given keys and left to ourselves! Thank you

A peaceful, private, spacious & very tastefully decorated respite from the streets of Galle. We loved staying here - excellent location- you step out and you’re in the fort town and close to everything, but inside you’re enjoying beautifully decorated lounging space and a really nice room which was spacious, air-conditioned & immaculately clean and tidy. Great stay!
