The gardens, the spa, huge rooms and the fabulous food

The accommodation setting is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious. Bed very comfortable. Our host was very gracious. The food was good. Definitely a hidden gem. Our own little island in South Africa, many people don't know about. Beautiful open-air chapel that it set next to the river, stunning garden. Rooms are all decorated individually lots of love and time has been put into the rooms.
Dinner and breakfast service, the staff could do with a little more training, especially with such an eloquent setting.

They should have a bigger variety of food on the menu.
The location is great, there's so much to do around the area if you have a 4wd and you're ready for adventure. The hotel itself is in a lovely setting with lots of gardens and the room itself was a fantastic size and nicely appointed, with extra lovely touches like the complimentary port wine. The meals in the restaurant were all lovely as well.

The property is like the Garden of Eden in the Karoo. Tranquil and beautiful gardens.
