Top notch experience
Pros:

Very nice hotel. Location is top notch. Breakfast spread was ultimate. All staffs were very welcoming. As per price it’s the best one to choose.

Good but can be s lot better
Pros:

- the location was fantastic, everything was easily accessible. Autos could almost always be flagged down right outside the entrance.

- the restaurant was exceptional

- breakfast was great, with a primarily south indian spread

- bed and pillows were comfortable

Cons:

- the room cannot be called soundproof. It overlooks a busy road. Traffic noises can still be heard and can sometimes be disruptive if someone honks loudly. This is despite double glazed windows and thick curtains.

- I was on the 7th floor. The restaurant is on the 8th floor and it closes at 11.30. so till midnight or later, bumps and bangs and scraping of chairs can be distinctly heard. Light sleepers should avoid this floor.

- Bathing cabinet door leaked so much that the bathroom floor became wet and slippery.

- No hand towels or room slippers were provided. These are expected from a hotel of this star rating.

- Wood panelling around the bed was broken and crumbling in some places. It feels like an old property in need of renovation.

Comfort stay in Mangalore
Pros:

Strategically placed in the centre of the city, and close to the Mangalore central railway station the hotel is a great choice to access everything in the city. The hotel has two restaurant, one for Indian cuisine and another for Asian food. Both are hygienic , with good variety of items. Both restaurants have good decor and ambience. Rooms are clean , well appointed. Bathroom in my room was small, could have been more spacious. The staff at the desk and in the restaurants were courteous and helpful.
Overall good hotel, value for money.

Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und ist auf alle Wünsche eingegangen. Das Hotel gehört für indische Verhältnisse zwar zur oberen Preisklasse, bietet dafür aber guten Komfort. Das Essen in den beiden Restaurants, der Room Service und das Frühstück sind ebenfalls sehr gut. Es gibt Wäscheservice, der schnell und gründlich ist.

Cons:

Es ist nicht direkt am Meer, aber mit einem Taxi kann man recht schnell zum Strand kommen.
Es wäre gut gewesen, am Anreisetag mehr Toilettenpapier zur Verfügung zu haben (die Rolle war schon angefangen).
