The rooms and garden weren’t as described. There were debris and trash everywhere in the garden. The pool area is run down with dirty furniture. The actual pool size is more of a larger bath tub. Warm water and WiFi were almost always non existent. Funky smell from the bathroom. Didn’t get a good respons when communicating these problems with the host. Located in a rough part of town far away from everything but still there were a lot of noise from neighbours and dogs barking all night. When we wanted to check out early because of these discrepancies the host wouldn’t accommodate us instead we had to involve the booking site who took our side in this matter and we were able too relocate. Couldn’t recommend. There is much better accommodation for the same price elsewhere.

Pros:

Nice big private room with seperate bathroom. Beautiful roof terasse for sunrises with racoons visiting in the night. The service personal was lovelly and we felt comfortable.

Cons:

There was a leak in our room which meant towels had to be laid out on the floor. The location is outside of the main area but just a short walk, we enjoyed this as it's more quite but walking alone in the dark might not be for everyone. The entrance garden did flood while we were there, as did the rest of Holbox, which meant walking through ankle deep water, again fine for us but maybe not for everyone.

Exceptional
Pros:

Built with excellent taste with top quality materials! Huge room with all the comforts! Super clean room, we literally walked bare footed. The location is perfect just near the center (where all the life is) and the good side of the beach. Toño and his wife are smiley people and always so helpful with everything! We are only sad we couldn't stay more days!

Wonderful property! Easy walk to main area.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa de Mia! The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the courtyard felt like a small, tropical paradise. Despite not being in the heart of the downtown, the place was a short walk to restaurants, bars, and the beach, and walking in the neighborhood always feeling incredibly safe. Would definitely stay again! Especially due to the service and level of communication provided.

Beautiful appartment close to the beach and center of Holbox
Pros:

I loved the design of the place, wood and white, beautiful. Also, rooms or better say, appartment is really spacious. Also, owner was very nice to us. In comparison to the other accomodation we had in Holbox and others I was checking, great value for money.

Cons:

Well, not really with the appartment itself but road to get there is not particularly charming. Also, there were some ants in the appartment but that was pretty standard for accomodations in Tulum and Holbox due to type of build. Also, friendly remark, bring a mosquito spray, garden is a little jungle and all kinds of insects are thriving (as is normal ;))!

Pros:

The room was clean, very big, very comfy beds, shower was very good and also big.
Tono was an amazing host, he helped us with everything and responded very quickly.

The room had poor day light so it was a bit humid

Very charming place, with nice and cozy garden.

Cons:

the kitchenette has no jobs and cooking pan, it is only for cold food with a fridge.
Also, in the bathroom, it smells funny like moisture but is was clean though.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay for a birthday celebration. Highly recommend
Pros:

Amazing location on the mangroves. Felt like a treehouse luxury room! Amazing rooftop to enjoy sunsets and birds.

Pool was fantastic too!
