Peaceful and romantic escape to rural Portugal
Pros:

Highlight of the stay was Fernanda, the hostess who cooked us beautiful meals each evening and gave us lots of interesting information about the food. The grounds are gorgeous with stunning views. We loved morning tennis games and chilling by the pool. The Quinta is secluded so we had a car to get round but there is also a taxi service in the area and a train station a 10 min drive away.

Would highly recommend. Once in a lifetime stay.
Pros:

300 year old Quinta in an amazing setting. Vineyards surrounded our lodging and it was so peaceful. Fernanda made the experience as she greeted us and cook outstanding dinners. Dinners were an extra cost, but well worth it. We purchased breakfast with our night stays and they were big and mouthwatering. So big we did not need lunch. One of the dogs, Ronaldo, was attention seeking so it was nice to pet him so I didn’t miss my dog from home. The dog respected our space, but came when I called him. The experience was top notch.

Third visit and we’ll be back!
Pros:

Third year in a row coming to Quinta de Guimaraes and it just keeps getting better. Beautiful place that, once again, we got to have all to ourselves. And of course, Fernanda! She’s the best hostess ever, and quite honestly, her cooking alone is worth coming here. We’ll be back!

Très bon séjour dans un cadre magnifique
Pros:

Tout ! La casa Piscina était très agréable, bien équipée, spacieuse et très propre.
Le petit déjeuner est super ! Le cadre de la Quinta est idyllique : la piscine, le jardin, les jeux mis à disposition (panier de basket, table de ping pong, but de foot, beach volley, etc…). C’est l’endroit parfait pour se détendre et profiter !
Un grand merci à Fernanda pour son accueil, sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et sa très bonne cuisine !

Séjour superbe au milieu des vignes
Pros:

Maison superbe au sein de cette Quinta, au milieu des vignes.
Très belle vue sur le Douro
Piscine tres agréable au sein d’un jardin pù les enfants peuvent faire plein d’activités : foot, balançoire, etc…

Magnifique Quinta pour déconnecter au plus proche de la nature en étant choyé par le personnel.
Pros:

J’ai été merveilleusement bien reçue par Fernanda. C’était un réel plaisir de séjourner dans ce lieu. Super endroit pour déconnecter.
La maison, la vue sur la campagne environnante et le Douro, la piscine, les repas typiques, la chambre, le personnel ; tout était réuni pour être choyé et passer un bon moment.
J’ai adoré.

Toller Aufenthalt!
Pros:

Tolles Haus mit viel Platz (Casa Piscina), schöne Aussicht von der Quinta auf den Douro und die Berge. Fantastisches Personal, Fernanda und ihr Team waren großartig, tolles Frühstück und Abendessen, sehr leckeres frisches Obst und Gemüse und gutes Fleisch.

An ancient family home - not to be missed
Pros:

This is an exceptional old family house, the welcome and care throughout our stay was simply superb
We enjoyed the lovely organic produce from the garden that were prepared with love by Fernando and partnered with superb wine from the property
We felt throughly at home
The views over the Douro Valley are simply stunning
All four dogs, Rinaldo, Chico, Nina and Vaca are super friendly. Bigger and older Chico is so kind and gentle.

Amazing stay in the middle of a vineyard in Douro region.
Pros:

The place is much more incredible than the photos.
If you liked the photos, you will be amased about the real quality. The house is perfect with perfect kitchen/ livingroom. The rooms are big and very very confortable with full bathrooms. The "pequeno-almoço" served every morning with fruits, fresh bread coffee etc is great. The Quinta is full of vineyards and so beautiful. There is also a playing space with basketball net, bicycles, table-tennis, rackets to tennis practice and others. Also there is a very nice pool area with a view in the middle of the garden, a huge lawn area and a sand court to play football of even kids digs and castle construct. The Quinta is specialiized on the green-wines which I bought but still didnt tasted. All crew is very gentile and friendly. We were very very happy with our stay.
