Highly recommend a few nights in this beautiful lodge
Pros:

Very accommodating with our request to check-in early due to illness within our party; they were able to have one of our two rooms ready when we arrived at lunchtime. Beautiful setting, lovely pools and excellent food. All staff were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. All rooms of a very high standard.

Cons:

I didn't like the very high sinks in our room (No 11) - I had to stand on tip toes to clean my teeth and I'm 5'3". They looked great but totally impractical for me!

A tranquil garden retreat
Pros:

The tranquility of the landscaped gardens, the poolside seating areas and the the food.

We also enjoyed the attentive service provided by the staff, particularly by Eddie.

Pros:

What stands out with Lairds is the people. The spread care, happiness and like to do their utmost for the stay at any point.
The breakfast was really good! The location was perfect for us and we did daytrips north and south of the hotel.
Our room (11) was large, comfotable and clean.
This was the best stsy for us out of totally 5 in South Africa.

Very comfortable lodge, beautiful gardens. Friendly staff and good food.
Pros:

Very comfortable room with private patio. Superb gardens with beautiful planting. Staff were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. Food we chose for our evening meal was very good and the breakfast menu was of a high quality and well presented.
