A lovely, full of character place in Itchenor
Pros:

What a lovely place, full of charecter yet all clean , bright and looks like it had been recently refurbished. Very comfortable bed clearly with relatively new mattress and bed linen . Lovely staff, Very nice bar and outside sitting area and magnificent views over the harbour.

Cons:

My room was not ensuite and the bathroom was not far, but across two fire doors , however the bsthroom was recently refurbished and sparking clean .They do also have ensuite rooms..

A interesting, unique place for the night.
Pros:

It is an unusual venue to choose unless you want to go sailing. It is a vibrant, active sailing club, lots of activity in the day and peaceful at night. Lovely walks along the shore line. Staff and other people around, all very relaxed and friendly.

A really delightful experience and we would certainly stay again.

Disappointing despite its good position.
Pros:

This place could be fantastic. It’s in a good position. I took a single room with shared bathroom, so was not expecting too much. Even so, I was disappointed.

Cons:

It seemed basically clean but the total lack of maintenance made it uncomfortable. As a result I would not recommend it: badly creaking old bed, windows in room could not be held open as catches broken. As windows went straight on to flat roof the choice is between boiling or insecurity. Same problem in share bathroom. The carpet was clearly being eaten (moths?) and heating was blasting away in corridor despite hot weather. As it was missing valves there was no way to turn it off. Lastly the room doors slammed as not restrained. It’s such a pity. Hopefully someone will sort it out.
