Its location out in the countryside with a ladies cricket match being played back of the car park… couldn’t ask for more

We were on our way to Goodwood. The Red Lion was an oasis of village calm. Enjoyed it.

Better coffee making, a pod machine perhaps would be a welcome addition.
The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was very good.
Awful Wi Fi in all the rooms we moved to, nesting birds kept us awake the first night so we were moved but there was no Wi Fi and the last room we were moved to had some kind of banging all through the night ...disappointed!!!
Unfortunately, there was no breakfast; we didn't know that beforehand.

Comfortable room, brilliant staff and owner, great beer and amazing location
We really enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was not being aware kitchen staff had reduced hours because of the heat.
