Hidden gem for extended, budget-aware visit. Quiet location, very close to shops, tram, buses & Old City. Free, secure parking! (their excellent tip; waze app for driving). Ensuite room had everything needed: very simple & somewhat tired fitout but Spotless. Excellent, helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

The Perfect location for a pilgrimage to Jerusalem 2026
Pros:

I booked this trip for my husband and a companion - he has a rare type of dementia. The hotel looked after all their needs and more and everyone was really happy. The location was amazing for all their trips and the staff could not have been asked for more

Cons:

All amazing there is no bad comments, and the communication was also exceptional as I was booking it all in advance. I recommend both large and small groups to this venue

Small, basic rooms but quiet and a great location.
Pros:

St Thomas Guesthouse has an excellent location just a few minutes walk from Damascus Gate . Almost everything of interest in Jerusalem ins within walking distance. It is quiet, the staff are kind and helpful and the rooms are small and basic but comfortable. It is also rather reasonable in price for this very expensive country.

Cons:

The rooms could be bigger and have more sockets for computers and phones. But then it is a basic, budget accomodation.
