Stunning location, superb hosts, quality accommodation and amazing food
Pros:

Alejandra made us feel so welcome. She went above and beyond to make sure our 3 night stay was perfect.
The breakfasts were absolutely delicious each day having something different all served by Alejandra who pleasantly chatted and gave us help with our exploration of the area for the day.
The room was huge with everything you could possibly need for the stay. Nice shower and a spa bath. Everything spotlessly clean.
Lovely gardens where we saw lots of birds and a Coyote across the fields.
We met Ken the owner who each evening invited us for a drink at sunset and chat with him and other guests. A lovely man who told us how he had landscaped the gardens so beautifully.
We will be returning possibly next year.

Amazing place and hosts

Alejandra and Ken were amazing hosts! From precise indications before arriving to the welcome drink, they offer assistance for everything.

A real treasure in Heredia, perfect for a night or two to get to Costa Rica climate!
Pros:

The owner (Ken) and his wife (Alessandra) were very welcoming with a glass of wine upon our arrival, right before an amazing sunset. The house is situated on the hills of Heredia in a 20 acres estate, with coffee and avocado plantations. The included breakfast was amazing with homemade bread, avocados and coffee from their estate. Well priced for the location.
Would definitively be back.

Two nights was just enough but I could have easily stayed longer. The perfect way to arrive in Costa Rica

Finca Paraiso is a beautiful place to stay and the hosts are wonderful.
Pros:

Where to start? Our hosts, Ken and Alejandra were probably the best we’ve ever had. Ken invited us for a glass of wine and conversation as we watched the sunset and the next morning took us on a tour of his fantastic gardens. Alejandra was so kind and prepared outstanding breakfasts with homemade and homegrown ingredients that were healthy as well as delicious. The location is gorgeous and not far from restaurants and other interesting places to explore. Would’ve loved to stay longer.

Cons:

Only that driving the narrow road up was a bit scary since it’s only one lane in places, but we started getting the hang of it and all was well.

Beautiful, Calm and Very Special
Pros:

We had a super time visiting Finca Paraiso. Our hosts Ken and Alejandra went out of their way to make our stay very special. The room was really great overlooking the garden and a sleeping volcano. The gardens are beautifully maintained and we enjoyed seeing some nice birds as well. The breakfast was made to order with fruit, avocado, delicious eggs dishes, home made bread and their own home grown and roasted coffee. I highly recommend Finca Paraiso to all guests visiting San Jose.

Stay here!! You won’t regret it!!
Pros:

Everything!! The grounds are gorgeous! You can walk a good ways down through the garden on the side of the mountain. They have avocado trees, orange trees, bananas trees, coffee plants, flowers galore. The owner has wine with the residents and he is a delight. The room itself was very nice and very clean. It was easily the nicest place we stayed in our two week stay in Costa Rica.

If booking avoid the family suite. The main properly might be better.
Pros:

Images look good but the family suite is not connected to the main property and is very underwhelming.

Cons:

The room booked had very poor natural light. Felt old and in poor condition. Not at all what was expected. We left at 7am to see the volcano crater but were told the night before no breakfast would be available at that time. Not even yogurt or cereal was offered.
