Pros:

Beautiful location. Lovely bar area. Very friendly and helpful, if rather disorganised, staff.

Cons:

Dirty,(hairs) and damaged/torn sheets on the very badly made bed. Flies everywhere.
Needed to ask for a fan as the temperature was so high (supplied happily, thank you)
Rubbish left on the pathways outside rooms.
Choice limited on the evening menu, due to some dishes running out, despite it not seeming very busy.. (very nice crab starter)
Orders arrived very slowly and became muddled up and served incorrectly for us and two other guests.
Drinks with meal served too late to be enjoyed with the appropriate food.

Lovely place to stay but could maybe improve the accommodation
Pros:

Beautiful location in a charming tiny village. The pub building itself is lovely. The staff were absolutely delightful and could not have been more helpful. The food was good and the beer taps well kept. I can honestly say I have never had a better pint of Timothy Taylors Landlord! We particularly liked the attention that had gone into placing an interesting selection of books by category in little nooks around the restaurant and bar area.

Cons:

The bedroom was in a separate block to the pub. The room was quite cramped and the positioning of some of the furniture made it difficult to get out of bed to access the bathroom during the night. Also it obscured the view of the TV from the bed so we didn’t use that. However, the bed itself was comfortable. The shower and tea making facilities were good.

Very disappointing facilities and service.
Pros:

The location was good for access to the North Norfolk coast. Our experience was very negative.

Cons:

The room was ridiculously small, hardly room to get along the sides of the bed. No decent hanging space and a cramped table with a tiny kettle and cafetiere. This did not match the pictures on the site or their claim of having luxurious well appointed rooms. The shower had very low water pressure.
The breakfast menu was comprehensive, except every dish involved bread and there was no option to swap out the sourdough for gluten free bread. I asked and they didn't have any so whatever I had was missing some items. We had to request fruit juice and it was served at room temperature. The breakfast was adequately cooked, but took much too long to arrive. We stayed two nights, the first morning was a half hour wait from time of ordering and the second was just over an hour - totally unacceptable. When questioned, the server said the chef had arrived late!!!!!
In the morning, I asked if my insulated water bottle could be refilled with ice and water and was told they didn't have any ice, being offered room temperature water instead.
The drinks available from the bar in the evening seemed fine. We heard one guest say that his party had booked an evening meal and after an hour the server came to ask them if they wanted "anything else" the problem being they were still awaiting their main meal.

Quiet and a good location
Pros:

Very quiet room outside of the pub. Good sized bathroom.

Cons:

Nothing really. I find all hotels expensive. Just a small point - if serving streaky bacon make sure to render the fat.
