We wanted a typical English country pub and that is exactly what we got. Great location, great staff, great food. The room in the courtyard was on the small side but had everything we needed. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
There was nothing not to like
Lovely location, friendly owners good food
We stayed for two nights .food w
as 10,10 .
Room needs up dating and definitely needs some thing at window as not very private and water runs down them hosts lovely people. X
The bedding the quilt was to big for cover so had lump down the sides .
Loved Cley, walk into village was interesting - over church and by road. Room was warm, staff were good and food was good
Pub was a bit chilly and room was very compact
Very welcoming, room was clean and warm. Perfect walking distance to start of the circular walk. Food was lovely and plentiful.
Nothing
We really enjoyed our stay at the The Three Swallows, very comfortable and clean.
And nice and quiet.
Good shower and a nice outdoor space to sit and enjoy a drink from the bar on a warm evening.
Superb breakfast .
We also had an evening meal in the pub, which was also excellent.
I've been to the area many times but have not stayed here before, but it will definitely be the first place I look when I'm visiting Norfolk again .
Beautiful location, lovely interiors both pub and room
I arrived at 5pm in January and the heating hadn’t been turned on in advance in my room. It was uncomfortably cold.
It took about 90 minutes to get to temperature . It would have been much better if staff had flicked the heating switch prior to my pre booked arrival
Great modern but olde feel. The food was great and a clever tempting menu. Even the cocktails, which can be hit and miss elsewhere hit the mark. Despite limited staff and a busy night, they stepped up and very good service. Room modern with nice feature beams. Would stay again.
The only real annoyance was the struggle to get wifi. Eventually we were helped with it but it only worked in the bar area, not in the room. Therefore, no netflix etc promoted on the site, which was a shame. Coat hanger in the way of TV, too.
Owners and staff were warm, thoughtful ang welcoming. The room was small but clean and had everything needed, including a good selection of fresh tea and coffee.
Wonderfully traditional yet modernised pub. The food was superb, exceeding my expectations for choice, quality and value. I could not recommend this highly enough. Thank you for a most enjoyable visit.

The room I had was great for 1 but would feel small for 2
We had a wonderful one night stay, the owners and the staff made us feel very welcome.
We ate in their restaurant, and the food was excellent!
delicious
The location is excellent with a view across the green and not far from the village. It is a peaceful spot near the North Norfolk coast. The choice for breakfast was wide and very good, the service was very friendly and attentive with extras if we wanted them. We also had an evening meal which was very reasonable and extremely good with an interesting range.
Very little to comment on. The rooms are not in the building but in an annex so its necessary to cross in the open which if it's raining isn't ideal. Parking is on the road which in wet weather can get quite muddy.as it is next to the green.
We absolutely loved our stay! The location is quiet and beautiful, right next to the pub. The couple running the pub were incredibly nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was small but had everything we needed, and the breakfast was beautiful and delicious. We will definitely come back!
Clean & fresh with a great breakfast! Nothing was too much trouble for the owners
Nothing not to like

Harry was very helpful and made us feel very welcome
