Acceptable for the price but needs more attention to detail

Not for someone on foot but comfortable basic rooms
Pros:

The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Plenty of tea, coffee and sweet snacks. Clean towels. Nice TV with Roku freeview which was fine as I am familiar with using Roku. Wi Fi was good.

Cons:

The room was extremely hot which reflects comments in other reviews. I had to open the windows to let hot air out and as the building is on a busy road this meant it was noisy (and hot!). My quilt was a whopping 10.5 tog in the middle of a heatwave so I had to take it out of the cover. Much lower tog needed for summer months. The cover was clean but the bottom sheet looked as if it had not been changed. As I was on my own I just slept on half the cover & put half over me.The breakfast box is described as complimentary but was really just a load of cheap sweet stuff. I was walking the coast path and on foot - I would not recommend it to walkers as there was no proper breakfast and no places for food in the evening within walking distance.

Great budget accomodation
Pros:

Pleasant accommodation. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Well priced. Breakfast was a basic basket of items left in the room but it was well received and tided us over nicely. There are some nice places to eat nearby and we really loved the Chesil Beach Cafe.

Cons:

Multiple reed air fresheners in the hallway were a bit off putting. I really dislike how those things smell and they make me wonder what they are masking.

Cons:

The stay was okay. But im having great difficulty trying to get my VAT invoice for my stay which i need for work . Messaged loads of times, now being ignored. Booking.com have said its the properties responsibility to send me this. Its now been a week of me chasing the invoice and still just being ignored. Not happy .

Has potential to be a great place!

Cons:

Needs a few tweaks to be better. No side table, double bed but against a wall not great for 2 people? Breakfast advertised but it’s really not breakfast!

Booked 2 rooms for 4 of us and had a reply to say the double beds were small and not suitable for people who are not couples.
Phoned to change rooms to bigger ones, reassured this would be done.
Only to turn up with no change to bigger rooms and my calls not answered

Pros:

Recently renovated with a lovely feel

Cons:

Although our sleep was quiet and undisturbed, we did have to leave early in the morning and were weary that sound seems to travel easily into other rooms.
