Lovely location and our room was cleaned to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was really good.
Also a special thanks to the caretaker,he was very helpful and is a asset to the Lemon Tree B&B.
Nothing really.Obviously it would have been perfect to have the pub on site open.Despite it being shut it didn't dampen our stay.
Acceptable
Nothing specifically
Ds Frühstück war ein Witz, die Zimmer waren okay... Aber mitten im nirgendwo
La camera nuova di zecca.

No provision for extreme hot weather - the fan needs upgrading to a more powerful, silent Tower Fan. Bed small double which in heat was unbearable. Could not sleep at all
Spent two nights and we loved it. The weather was so hot that the staff had a fan ready for us which made a huge difference. Room was for 3 adults and the beds were perfect. We had water and snacks which were refreshed daily as well as the room cleaning.
A small fridge would have been nice.
Not made clear when booking, this is a section of a hotel which looks like it had a pub attached to it and it is closed, entry is by code, no reception, again not made clear. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, nowhere to eat, no shops etc... you had best have a car. Breakfast was Croisscants in a bag, or hot water porridge, again not clear..been battling with the hotel via text and boking.com customer services to get a VAT invoice/receipt with no joy, this was a business trip and I have to have one. my advice don't go there. TV reception poor.
Keyless entry was easy, room was okay.
Secure
Clean plenty of parking
Bit noisy at the front
The email confirming the booking did not match the description of the booking we paid for. The listing stated that a boxed breakfast would be supplied, but the confirmation email said there would be no breakfast. For the price, not a major issue. However, I emailed the property three times and received no response, which was concerning. The third email asked if the property was still trading. Booking.com also attempted to contact them and reported that the property did not respond to them either. At that point, we genuinely didn’t know whether Lemon Tree Rooms were still trading, so we had to prepare backup plans in case we arrived to find no accommodation available.
On arrival, everything was exactly as originally described and the stay went smoothly.
What an insane way to run a (new?) business. It’s an interesting business model, -similar to Yotel- with a lot of positive potential — but also the potential for expensive and frustrating disaster. It was a fully automated experience with no direct human interface. There are phone numbers and contact details at the property, but based on our experience, I would have zero trust that they lead anywhere, as communication appears to be almost non existent.
Imagine locking your key in the room or finding someone else occupying your room — it could easily turn into a nightmare. This was my first ever bad experience through Booking Dot Com, and it could have been very easily avoided with basic communication practices.
I have not reviewed any positive aspects of the accommodation as a reflection of my anger at this avoidable experience.
Absolutely delightful accommodation, so clean and fresh with thoughtful touches like the hamper of food and tea, coffee, hot chocolate.
It's a little bit out of the way but was perfectly placed for what I wanted to do.
