Lovely small room, good food and service
Pros:

The room itself was lovely - small but full of character and with a beautiful view across the field. There were some steps down into the bedroom and into the bathroom, so that’s something to be aware of if you have mobility concerns. Staff were friendly and helpful. Despite high prices and a dearth of vegetarian options (which I think is a result of the small temporary kitchen) I do recommend the food. Breakfast had a good range of options and was tasty.

Cons:

Our bathroom only had a bath with handheld shower head which wasn’t ideal for us. The pub is busy / popular so the driveway was cramped with parked cars when we arrived (there is an overflow car park that’s great for access to the cottage rooms though).

Quiet, Comfortable and Friendly
Pros:

Excellent location. Very comfortable and spacious room. Beautiful view. The breakfast was superb and brought over to us by Lisa as the pub itself was closed due to a fire. Cannot recommend this highly enough. We will be returning.

Gorgeous rooms in a tranquil setting. High quality B n B cottage. Lovely helpful host, thank you.
Pros:

A wide selection of lovely quality breakfast items and fresh coffee beautifully laid out in the downstairs communal area for us to help ourselves. Plentiful choice and leisurely meal time spent in the garden .

Cons:

I loved everything about the room and cottage , just be aware that phone reception inside room can be variable but fine once stepped outside :)

Ça aurait pu être parfait
Pros:

La chambre, était très confortable, le très grand lit était parfait, la salle de bains était grande et très fonctionnelle. Nous avons apprécié le paysage, la tranquillité et les somptueus petits déjeuners continentaux.

Cons:

A cause d'un incendie la cuisine a été détruite et le service est désorganisé et réduit. Le pub est fermé donc pas de restauration possible sauf le petit déjeuner continental. Heureusement que la gérante nous a prévenus la veille de notre départ. Nous sommes surpris que Booking.com ne se soit pas fait l'écho de ce problème.
