Excellent great variety and options
We liked everything but an extra chair in the bedroom would be good.....we took one from the sitting area!
Good old fashioned pub, lovely old building with open fire in the pub. Bedroom very comfortable and nicely fitted out with good en-suite bath room.
Cannot think of any negatives.
Very comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and directed us to a lovely long walking trail. Great breakfast!

Lovely rustic property, beautiful furnished with comfortable beds
The property was overly warm. We had 3 rooms booked and everyone said the same. Two of our rooms upstairs had large enclised showers but the ground floor room had a shower over the bath but without a shower curtain or screen which made it difficult to use without getting water everywhere. Aside from this, fantastic room.
Lovely character property. Beautiful rooms with large comfortable beds in a peaceful location. Good breakfast in thec pub restaurant too.
Our only dislike was that the room was rather hot, but that's a minor criticism.
Location really nice & convenient & bar ambience great.
Room was very cold on arrival, everything was damp, towels, bedding, curtains. Not very clean, mouldy windows, cobwebs & spiders. Outside lights for steps down to accommodation not working. Blind broken in the bathroom.
Peaceful and comfy with access to beautiful countryside on the doorstep
The location peaceful, ideal with a dog. The room was comfortable. We would definitely go back if staying in the area.
The restaurant was shut, and the linen was marked and stained.
Home from home
Comfort and clean
Very nice but didn't live up to higher expectations given the room rate
Room size was disappointing, power point and mirror locations not helpful. Tea and coffee located on bedside table
Lisa, the manager, has done such a good job running this traditional and historic inn. Excellent food, great drinks and bar area, lovely room with view. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The location is convenient for local attractions. Bar and restaurant are excellent with friendly staff.
We would expect a fixed shower in a superior room and a loo seat that stayed in place!!
