I chose it because they have a private beach. Which they don’t have a all. You need to take a shuttle bus (or walk 10 minutes on the asphalt) to be stopped 2 by security once you reach the partner hotel. Which also has no private beach; the manager explained to me that private beaches don’t exist in Kenya. Why he advertises them anyway he could not answer.
The staff is generally nice but avoid Joshua at the bar.
Quiet and relaxing with beautiful views everywhere. So many pool spaces and sitting areas to enjoy. Staff were lovely and always there to help.

No direct beach access but you will not miss it. You can go to the beach at the Billionaires resort.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Lion in the Sun. L’hôtel est magnifiquement décoré, parfaitement entretenu et d’une propreté irréprochable. L’ambiance y est calme et apaisante, idéale pour se détendre et profiter pleinement de ses vacances.
Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour son accueil chaleureux, sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme. Que ce soit à la réception, au restaurant, au service de ménage ou les managers, chacun a été aux petits soins tout au long de notre séjour.
La restauration mérite une mention spéciale. Les plats étaient excellents et le service était d’une qualité remarquable, rappelant l’art du service à la française : élégant, attentionné et particulièrement professionnel.
Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la salle de sport ainsi que la navette permettant de profiter des installations du Billionaire Resort, de sa piscine et de sa plage.
Un grand merci également aux managers, toujours disponibles, à l’écoute et soucieux de rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible.
Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans la moindre hésitation et garderons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour au Kenya.
