Everything good but the hot water. A tired man waited for the hot water to shower, standing right there and watched water 10mins then the water become warm then another 5mins hot water comes. This is California, waste water is no good , and a hotel ( not even that cheap) . Shower and comfortable bed is the most important things , hope you guys can upgrade your hot water system. Thank you

Nice place…with tolerable quirks
Pros:

This hotel is relatively new so everything is in relatively good shape for now but in the last two stays I’ve started seeing minor issues, eg. a rust stain and coffee stain on the rug, broken soap dispenser. My biggest issue this time was that rooms were not ready until 2 hours after supposed 3:00 check in time. I waited along with other guests for an hour in the lobby for my room to be readied. The front desk was short staffed so even when my room was ready earlier, the staff guy said he was too busy to tell me. I would still stay here again and I hope they will be able to maintain the hotel in good shape.

I accidentally booked at the Monterey Park Holiday Inn on the same night that I booked at the Downtown Holiday Inn, It was obviously a computer glitch. They could see that I spent that night at the Downtown Holiday Inn. I never stayed the night at Monterey Park. BUT THEY CHARGED ME THE FULL AMOUNT AND REFUSED TO ISSUE A REFUND. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!
