The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes. In addition, the live kitchen was highly accommodating and readily attended to special requests. The staff were courteous, attentive, and handled any concerns or complaints with patience and professionalism. The hotel was well-maintained, clean, and conveniently located, making the overall stay very pleasant.
One aspect that I found difficult to understand was the hotel's restriction on outside food. Even deliveries through Blinkit were subjected to thorough checks, and the rationale behind this policy was not clearly explained. This was particularly disappointing given that the food available within the hotel was neither exceptional in taste nor reasonably priced.
There was also considerable confusion regarding the minibar and in-room refreshments. The staff specifically informed us that the items inside the minibar were chargeable, whereas those placed on top of it were not. However, at the time of checkout, we were surprised to learn that all such items were chargeable, except for the tea kits and complimentary water bottles.
Furthermore, the hotel did not clearly communicate its policy regarding complimentary drinking water. We were later informed that the allowance was limited to 500 ml per person (two 250 ml bottles). On the first day, only two 250 ml bottles were provided, while additional bottles were charged without prior clarification. This led to unnecessary confusion and disagreement during checkout.
The billing process itself was another area of concern. The final bill appeared disorganized and lacked sufficient clarity, making it difficult to understand the charges being levied. Greater transparency and better communication regarding hotel policies and billing would significantly improve the guest experience. As it stood, the overall impression was that certain practices were designed more to generate additional revenue than to ensure customer satisfaction.

The breakfast was good. The waiting staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Delhi is a bustling, chaotic city so it is good to be able to come back to a cool, comfortable base after a busy day of sight seeing.
There seems to be an excessive expectation of tipping staff. This is an indication that staff are not being remunerated adequately for the work they do. I do not believe that tipping should be automatic if a person is simply doing their job. Tipping should be for service that is above and beyond expectation. This expectation creates some awkward moments that could be avoided if staff were remunerated properly to start with.
