It's not as comfortable as Home, but it's a very good option, that I will take advantage of soon!
Pros:

I really enjoyed the following:
Size of space
My control of temperature
Size of Shower
Curtains, ceiling to floor awesome
Retro kitchenette items
Comfort of bed and sofa
Floors were good
Adequate closet space
Parking space and security of entrance

Cons:

Personally, I would have liked to watch television from the bed, however, given the layout that was not an option.
I was aware using stairs was a requirement, it wasn't bad.
Going forward I would like ROOM #7 in My profile.

Pros:

location was good being in downtown

Cons:

The noise. The rail noise was expected but louder than expected. Reminded me of the scene in My Cousin Vinny. The construction noise was constant, so railroad wakes you up around midnight and 1pm (no ear plugs strong enough to keep you asleep) and the construction trucks started around 3am until they stopped working at 5pm. Constant banging of dump trucks dumping their loads, the backup beeps, and 18-wheeler engines revving up and back. I think once the town square construction is finished it will be a better value but for now, its not. Even left before the 2nd night which we paid for.

A great stay in a beautifully renewed, historic building!
Pros:

The mix of new to old styling and the history of the place were great. The original was a bit before my time, but I remember features such as the ironing board closet in the kitchen. Awesome to see again. I love the wood floors.

Cons:

It's not a dislike, but it was odd seeing no lobby or staff.

Pros:

We stayed at the Greyhound Inn during college move-in weekend. I love boutique hotels and this one was really cute. The room was spacious and nicely laid out. I loved the separate dining area and kitchenette. Since it is contactless, check in was a little bit challenging for us, but once we got it straight, everything was great. The concierge was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again while my student is in Tyler.

Run, do not walk, away from this propert! They only want your money and don't care about customer service!
Pros:

The room was nice and spacious.

Cons:

I'd stayed at Greyhound before, but had my family with me and was downstairs . This time, I was assigned Room 3, which is upstairs. I had a very important meeting the next day and I paid nearly 300 dollars to stay at Greyhound on a Monday night.

I drive from far away, so I didn't check in until after 11 pm. Around 3 am, I woke up startled due to this extremely loud noise. I took a video of what happened (in real time) and sent it to the customer service number that I'd been receiving texts from. I did not hear back from them until much later in the morning. The noise was continuous for hours and because of where the room I was assigned to was located, the noise founded like it was in my room. I later found out it was a train.

I made sure that the customer service person (no one is on site), knew what was going on as it happened. I was not offered another room or anything else that would have made me feel valued as a return guest. In fact, I was going to be charged 25 dollars extra had I gotten a late check out. They did nothing to make me feel accommodated for the fact that I couldn't sleep due to the noise. I had to leave there to get another room at another hotel . The TV also did not work.

I will never stay there again.

Pros:

What a cool hotel!!!! I like that it is all electronic and up to date and an old, restored Greyhound bus station in the heart of downtown!!! The tile and original wood floors were amazing. I will be staying there the next time I am in Tyler!!!

Pros:

I am 69 and had a bum leg. We were on the second floor and they had no elevator. I would prefer a staffed hotel. There were absolutely no people around. I guess if you texted or emailed someone may have showed up.

It was ok but nit for the price.
Pros:

I liked that it eclectic and technology driven

Cons:

I really wanted to get into the beautiful tub, but there were long brunette hairs left in it. I felt some kind of way having to clean a tin given the price I paid.

Also, because there are nonhumans on site, customers have to call or text to ask questions. I did both and no one ever answered the phone or called me back. Someone did eventually text me back.

Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay at the Greyhound Hotel. The building is 97 years old and has been remodeled, but it still retains its vintage charm rather than going ultra-modern—which I absolutely loved. The tile work throughout the space is beautiful, and the tub/shower combo was spacious and inviting. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I especially appreciated all the large windows and thick curtains that gave the room a cozy yet elegant feel.

One of the best parts was the location—everything on the Square was within walking distance. Whether it was grabbing coffee, ice cream, or sitting down at one of the many great restaurants, I never needed to drive. It was refreshing to just stroll around the city, take in the historic architecture, and see all the progress and revitalization happening in the area.

If you appreciate a hotel with character, comfort, and a walkable location, the Greyhound is a great choice.
