Cons:

L'accueil de l'hôtel est à améliorer, on a l'impression de déranger.
L'hôtel est froid et semble vide. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est à améliorer en qualité et variété.

Gawaling hotel is a great place to stay if you are going to Leh
Pros:

Very comfortable spacious room, with view of snow capped mountains. Hotel is in a great location where there was a short walk to the centre. The best part of the stay were the staff, particularly Ashwani and Munish on reception. Nothing was too much trouble and they were able to help me with excursions and transfers to/from the airport. They were both not only very competent and knowledgeable in their role, but also very friendly with a sense of humour. They made my stay very enjoyable and memorable . and they are a credit to the hotel.

Pros:

The rooms were nice and heated as well. Cant say much since we only had dinner there, which was nice.

Cons:

The location is a far away from the main road, so you need a vehicle to get around. It was a bit pricey considering the fact that it is far away from Leh Market/ restaurants etc.

Filthy hotel with misleading features and photographs - wouldn’t recommend to anyone travelling here
Pros:

There was nothing pleasurable about this hotel.

Cons:

The rooms were dirty, there was hair in my food, the tv did not work, the shower flooded the bathroom, we booked two beds in the Presidential suite for INR 20,000 and there was only one.

The worst part was that we had someone tell us at 5am our taxi had arrived to take us to the airport. There was no taxi and after waiting 30 minutes, a taxi arrived and we almost missed our flight.
