Las instalaciones del hotel cumplieron todas nuestras expectativas. Pero, sin duda alguna, nos llevamos en el corazón a Wendy, una de las recepcionistas que, desde el primer momento que nos vio llegar, nos atendió de maravilla, alojándonos en unas habitaciones con vistas increíbles a Manhattan, estando pendientes de nosotras durante los 7 días que estuvimos alojadas allí. Además, el hotel presta un servicio de transporte hacia la boca de metro más cercana que te lleva hasta el centro y, además, están hasta las 20:45, cosa que se agradece ya que el hotel se encuentra como en un polígono y andando son unos 15/20min. Sus conductores son Percy y Barry, ambos son increíbles también y estamos muy agradecidas con ellos.
Algo que cambiaría sería el desayuno, ya que no tiene gran variedad y todos los días es prácticamente lo mismo. Podrían ofrecer algo más de fruta y embutido para las tostadas, así como variar los platos cocinados, ya que siempre son huevos y salchichas o hamburguesa.

I liked the friendliness of the staff.
I didn't like the cleanliness of the hotel. Elevators were never vacuumed. The hall ways need to remove the carpet very dirty. Also it didnt have an area for dogs to go to the potty. The room didn't have any towels upon checking in.

The attitude of management, esp. GM Ferrara was terrible! I used Booking.com to reserve a King room for three nights, 10/25-10/27/2025. On the night of 10/26, my wife and I took the subway to see a Broadway play. We were admonished to turn off our cell phones during the performance. After the play was over, we discovered a voicemail message from my mother-in-law’s nurse had been delivered an hour earlier. She stated that my MIL suddenly took ill with a pain in her side and she had to be taken to the emergency room. They couldn’t determine the cause of the pain and was hospitalized so that further tests could be made. My MIL’s nurse said that she was very anxious to have us see her. Thus, we determined it was best to end our stay one night early and drive directly to the Fairfax, VA hospital where she was.
Having made this determination, I then went to the front desk to explain that we had to end our stay one night early and check out in the morning, DUE TO THE FAMILY EMERGENCY I described in the previous paragraph. I also asked for a refund of our payment for Monday night, as we wouldn’t be using the room than. The night clerk said that I should contact Booking.com and that he lacked the authority to issue a refund. I then spent over an an hour on the phone with Booking.com before finally talking to someone who told me that I need to get authorization from Holiday Inn Express management to get credit for Monday night. I called the night clerk again and he said that the GM would report for work after 9 AM on the 27th. We checked out shortly after 9 AM Monday morning and the desk clerk said that the GM wasn’t there yet. We checked out and called HI again when we stopped at a rest stop on the turnpike in early afternoon.

Location is too far away from the subway. We had plastic cutlery for breakfast. Staff lost the delivered package, and then found it after we mentioned cameras and hotel manager.
