Everything was perfect
Loved making the s’more’s outside with my family!
They could not get us in joint rooms even though it was approved in my request.
I loved everything available on this property. So convenient and comfortable
All the animal hair that is around in the rooms and property 🤮
I made my reservation online. I was quoted a total price and it said no additional charges. Included room, tax, and tourism fee. Upon check-in, I was told that they only needed my credit card for any incidentals if I purchased anything. I got my statement and found out they had charged me $30.60 for parking. When I checked into the hotel, they said there was no additional charges. The only other interaction with the front desk was that the power had been off the night before and they said it was possibly going to be off tonight. Luckily it did not go off. Evidently they do not have a battery back up system or generator. They said once the power goes out, it will be dark and people will not be able to walk around the room, take showers or anything else. They recommended that you had a phone ready to use as lighting in the hotel.
Now when I contacted them about parking fee, they said they charge everyone. I was never told there was a parking fee. I was never asked to pay for a parking fee and I never gave my credit card to pay a parking fee however they went ahead and charge my credit card without my permission.
Hidden fee for parking, never told me, never asked for me to pay for one. They actually charged my card without my permission. I have never had an agency charge my card without my permission or knowledge and still even even have the nerve to tell me to my face that they did it. This is a criminal act and will be disputed.

We were charged parking fee when we checked in. They didn't show or tell us the additional fee before we got there. We were upset about that.
This is very ideal for a stay in Big Bear Mountains, CA. Facilities are complete and it's near the city but not right smack in the city prone center. The hotel is tucked in a safe neighborhood but still accessible, although a car is a must. It's near the snow attractions. It’s a full service mid sized hotel. Lobby looks really good. Big parking space but you have to pay daily to park. Rooms look newly renovated but it’s a little small compared to other American hotels of this category. Bedsa re nice, toilets seem new and not grimy at all. Beddings and flooring are clean. The entire facility looks, smells and feels new. Feels safe too. Located right smack in the middle of the action but far enough from the traffic town center. I suggest that one should get a bigger room. It has a fire pit in the back to hang out. Breakfast is ample with a big dining room that doubles as an informal lobby lounge.
Paid parking since there is no option to park elsewhere. They did not allow for a much earlier checkin before 1PM more so the hotel did not seem full at that time.
Overall, the place is just full of problems. Pests in the room (with pictures) the heat wasn't working and temperature was 60 degrees per the thermostat and turning full heat on did nothing and despite 5 polite requests no effort was made by staff. Breakfast "buffet" has plastic utensils, paper plates, and nothing but reheated junk and sugar cereals. Almost as nice as what I'd expect in a frat house. lol. Blinds were broken, Joseph the grouch eventually responded to ask to "discuss" but there was nothing to discuss. No attempt was made to fix the heat. Just generally awful experience for a very horribly pricey hotel. hallways smelled horribly of smoke, super loud, pool area smelled horribly of chlorine. Won't return.
Very bad.
I really liked this hotel because everything was nice. Very well located so you can walked everywhere. I recommend this place. Thank you, guys.
$29 for the parking is too much and the restaurant was not working at dinner so you have to go out.
