Pros:

First time in idyllwild, location was perfect for my stay. Rooms was nice and comfortable and had microwave and mini fridge which was really helpful. Property itself was really nice and had nice walkways tonwalk my dog

Pros:

It was a pretty property and it was a great location!

Cons:

Our blinds in our room did not close and the room was a bit dirty in my opinion. There was a pair of eyelashes glued to the floor and some bad water damage behind the toilet amongst other things such as scratch marks on the front door.

I confronted the front desk twice about the blinds not working. We were concerned about privacy. We could not get them to close and it made us uncomfortable. The solution was to close each blind by hand? Doesn’t really seem like a reasonable solution but that’s all we were offered so that’s what we did.

We tried out the restaurant and had a pretty bad experience there. We were sat and then ignored for 30 minutes. We were placing bets on how long it would take to get asked if we wanted a drink but we were NEVER asked. We had to go and find someone and ask if we could be served. Did not get to use the coupons they gave us for the restaurant.

Great staff, beautiful property, blackout curtains needed
Pros:

Amazing welcome on arrival, staff were so friendly/helpful. Love that it's dog friendly. Room was a nice size and comfortable/cozy. Food at the on-site restaurant was good. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Lots of free parking too.

Cons:

Every one of the chalet type rooms has a light right outside the front door, but there's no way to turn them off and they stay on all night. Unfortunately the blind on the door isn't blackout, so the room is quite bright even at 3am. Additionally, there didn't seem to be a dog relief area, which would have been nice as it was hard wandering around at 11pm at night trying to find somewhere my picky dog would relieve himself!
