i was LOCKED OUT!
this is an untrustworthy hotel.
i made a reservation a week in advance, fully paid for.
i received an email through expedia from the hotel that they received the reservation and it was confirmed.
i sent the hotel an email through expedia, saying my plane would be arriving at 2:30AM, and asking if there would be any problem checking in at that time.
my email was ignored, no response.
i decided to go through with it and hope for the best, since the hotel had a decent rating, and because the hotel info stated "check in any time".
i arrived, took a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel, passed the hotel several times because all the lights in front of the hotel were off, there were no signs and no lighting to show where the hotel was, it was very un-welcoming.
when i arrived, there was a padlock on the front gate, there was no way to open it, there was no sign on how to reach a hotel attendant.
i knocked on the gate, and the taxi driver also knocked on the gate and shouted inside to try to get attention, but no one came.
i was very disappointed in this hotel - they received my money, they had a fully paid for reservation, i emailed them to let them know i'd be checking in late at night, yet, i was shut out from my reservation and had to take another taxi ride to find another hotel at the last minute.
a hotel this irresponsible should not be on expedia.
